| | | | | | | About Gamertag Nation First, let me welcome you to Gamertag Nation! I'm guessing you came to this page asking yourself, "What is Gamertag Nation?" Well, our tale began shortly after a gamer and web developer renewed his appreciation for the gaming community on February 19th, 2008. A website by the name of Gamertag Nation started to grow. This website was created as a multi-national haven for Xbox 360 gamers. Nowhere else can you find an organized list of Xbox 360 games, user-submitted reviews and ratings, guides, calendar events, and news from all of your favorite gaming sites. The growing popularity of social networking and our love for gaming has given us a reason to merge the two concepts into one. With your gamertag registered at Gamertag Nation, you can actively play Xbox 360 games on your console and visit our website for content directed specifically to the game you played. Compare your statistics, achievements, and gamerscore all at the same time, too. Even if gaming isn't in your blood, stay for the active community. Join groups with other members, make friends, leave comments, post blog entries or just lounge in one of our many discussion forums. This simple idea has grown and evolved into the full-fledged social gaming community it is today.

Gamertag Nation Staff
At Gamertag Nation, we have a highly efficient, sometimes wild, team of staff members. Their positions may range all the way from manager to team mascot too. For your convenience, you can find a list of the Gamertag Nation staff below.

Eric Lavender Head Honcho & Founder Hi, I'm Eric. I'm the captain of this interstellar group here at Gamertag Nation. My job is to make sure everyone here has a good time. I develop, program and design many of the features within the 'Nation. If something's broken, it's probably because of me. When I am not on GTN, you can find me on Xbox Live. If you find me online, shoot me a message or invite. -
Obsidian Tides Editor-N-Chief & Reviewer I'm Obsidian Tides, often referred to as OT or Chrono. Video games have been my passion for years, and they'll remain that way for as long as they're around. I play all varieties of games, and I play them well, so whether you need a good challenge or some helpful advice, I'm the man to talk to.
As Editor-in-chief at GTN, my job is to edit the living daylights out of whatever I lay my eyes on. I also contribute anything that's needed, including things like polls, reviews, and guides. When it comes to forum issues, I can draw from my experience as moderator and administrator of numerous boards in the past to make sure any problem will be resolved.
If there's any way I can help you out, just let me know. -
Blank Planet News Editor & Reviewer I'm Blank Planet, formerly known as Warlock Billy which is still my gamertag. I have been into games since I got Tomb Raider 3 when I was nine and Half Life when I was twelve. From then on I have been an avid games enthusiast and always try and keep up to date even if it means all my money disappearing. I enjoy FPS games the most or just any game with action. Although I will slip into MMOs when the wait for console games becomes too long.
Here on GTN I do a couple of things. I enjoy writing reviews when I can and also create new topics which may be of interest regarding the 360, PS3 and PC platforms. -
Hywel Griffiths News Editor & Reviewer I'm The Archanist, and we've gathered on the site that nobody (not even me) knows where the name comes from. My real name is Hywel Griffiths, and I'm quite possibly the most Welsh person on the site. I've been playing video games for most of my life, and have owned an Xbox 360 for about a year and a half now. I mainly play RPGS and Rhythm games, although I often divulge into the realm of the FPS or MMORPG.
I am a News and Gaming Editor for the site. What this means is that I spend a large amount of my time lurking through websites for a good news story. If you look at all of the news stories I've made, there mainly to do with Rock Band DLC, this is because I am an avid follower of all things Harmonix, and it's also incredibly easy to make a good Rock Band DLC post.
If you ever need any advice on what you should buy for Rock Band DLC in terms of the fun-ness of the charts (not the style of music) come to me! -
Tariq Khan Community Manager I've been a gamer since I was Seven years old... so almost a good 15 years. I have no real forte in Gaming, but I am a very good general gamer, with reaction time being my edge. My previous website experience include several moderator and super moderator positions, and a six month period as the sole administrator of Final Fantasy Republic Forums, which were created by Eric, founder and webmaster of GTN.
As Community Administrator (Global Manager), my role includes the entirety of the forums and the Gaming directory in terms of community and member situations. In other words, it is my responsibility to administrate and view member input, behavior and keep the site running smoothly, with as little drama as possible, while keeping healthy and productive debate alive. My authority extends to the forums, the specific game bulletins, profiles, blogs and all places where members behavior can be effectively monitored in order to ensure a constantly positive social structure.
Most of all, my main concern is that all members should have the time of their lives, and make GTN their preferred site for social banter and gaming discussion alike! If we aren't having a blast, then what's the point of GTN?! | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 09:11 AM.
