This achievement was glitchy for me and wouldn't register after completing some rounds using modified weapons only but after switching to single player it worked fine. So you might have to do it solo. It's not that bad on single player especially if you are in the easy arena. Throwing your weapons will count towards it, just make sure you only have or are using custom weapons in your inventory. And if you're playing with Sam B. You can use the tackle skill as it will not void to achievement and is a very helpful skill. I posted a video from my old GT when I locked the achievement. I was able to do it in Arena C, the hard arena on single player.
I actually was able to do it in Arena B, the very hard arena as well on my current GT. I'll post the video once I get it loaded from my flash drive.
