    (Cross-posted in the Air 1,000, Air 3,000, Air 5,000, Gap 25, Gap 50, and Gap 100 achievements)

I did not buy the Rooftop level, so this is all based on the School level.

Similar to my guides for the Grind achievements, this can be done in the tutorial level, but unlike the Grind achievements, there are no glitches to worry about with getting air, so I recommend going for this in a regular endless run. As with all achievements in this game, I don't recommend trying to stack your Air and Gap achievements with your Grind, L-I-N-E, and Trick achievements. The Air and Gap achievements go pretty well with each other, though. In fact, you should not need to do anything at all to get your gaps, at least 100 should come naturally on the way to your 5,000 air meters. It's also quite possible that you'll gather up 3-4 (maybe even 5) L-I-N-Es on your way to 5,000 air meters, so there's no sense going out of your way for them. The difficulty does not increase as you get further and further into your run (one of the reasons this game is so dull), so you can always change gears and start pursuing letters once you hit your 5,000 air meters, since you'll have a head start on them anyway. BUT FINISH YOUR AIR METERS FIRST!!!

As a note for the gap achievements, other sites out there say that only the gaps which appear in your trick list with a brown paint splash to emphasize them count. Based on my experience, this is false. Any time you jump a gap of any kind, a small point bonus will appear next to your skater and say something like "Gap +25," or "Gap +50," etc. These all count.

I suggest sticking to the center or bottom lanes for your air and gap runs, since the top lane has the most obstacles (in my opinion), and the fewest ramps for extra air. What you'll want to do for these achievements is to be CONSTANTLY ollieing unless you need to prepare to ollie over an obstacle. So rapidly tap your ollie button throughout your whole run. Don't worry about charging up bigger ollies unless you need to bypass an obstacle, just do quick, small ones throughout your run. If you're coming up on a ramp, go ahead and hold it down for a bit so that you can make the most of a ramp. If you're coming up on an obstacle, don't try to fit one last small ollie in, just go ahead and charge up to make sure you clear the obstacle. I don't suggest changing lanes to capitalize on ramps. There's no inherent problem with doing this, but if you set a hard and fast rule for yourself that you WILL NOT change lanes to go for a ramp, there will be no chance of you getting just a bit too daring and bailing when you cut it too close. Many of the gaps between tables, obstacles you have to jump over, and ramps you'll jump up (and down) as you're ollieing your way through the course will count as gaps, so this is why I say there's no need to specifically pursue gaps. To get 5,000 meters, you will be doing a LOT of ollieing, and frankly I'd be impressed if you managed to stay under 100 gaps before hitting your 5,000.
