Yesterday i decided to throw caution the wind and try out a Battleground in WoW. I had no idea of what was about to happen, who I would be grouped with, where i would be going apart from "Arathi Basin 2". I was completly lost.
I was able to join a group instantly and there was a minute before everything kicked off. Inthis minute you and your allies stand around in a lobby area looking out to the battlefield. Druids and Priests instantly started giving out buffs and then...
Every WoW player at some point has heard of power-levelling and gold sites. I am on two fronts with this. If a player all of a sudden becomes bogged down with work or other aspects of life and is finding it hard to level then by all means I don’t see what’s wrong with paying money to go higher. Sure its profit on something that can’t really be sold but no one would do it for free. I don’t really see whats wrong with £5 for 500gold though!
At first i was thinking of getting it nearer christmas as loads of people get games then and i thought that most of the problems that people were hitting would be eliminated.
But after realising that few games were coming out that are worth mentioning i decided to go for it.
I must say that it's been a decent experience so far, The players are a bit more agressive as outside city limits its pretty much PvP free for all but what the hell, you can fight back. However...
Once again I've been hit by cosmic rays and I want to play WoW. I don't know why seeing as most of these sessions end in tears but im downloading the latest patch.
I suppose that this is the reason why me and the game don't get on. It keeps drawing me back with false promises that this time will be better and I'll actually try this time around. Who knows? Maybe I will as no games that interest me come out until November and in a couple of weeks or so I'll have a laptop that works....
