So my brother had been nagging me to watch this anime movie he'd downloaded called Sword of the Stranger. And after about a month of not bothering, I sat down with him and watched it.

And by god is that anime awesome.

It was beautifully drawn and animated extremely well, and I'm going to give a brief synopsis of the plot, but I highly recommend that you watch it yourself if you're even remotely interested in anime.

The movie follows a boy and his dog as they run away from a group of Ming Province Vassals (who feel no pain through the use of a mysterious drug). He runs into a samurai who's taken shelter in the same abandoned temple as the boy. After being confronted, the boy hires the samurai to escort him to a far-off temple.

It's by far one of my favorite animes that I've ever seen, and I can't be any more serious when I tell you to watch this film now.
