Oscar winner and comedian Robin Williams died this morning at 63. While his publicist wouldn’t confirm that it was a suicide, they did issue this statement. “Robin Williams passed away this morning. He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”
According to a press release issued by the Marin County Coronor’s office, the Sheriff’s office suspects the death to be “suicide due to asphyxia.” The 9-1-1 phone call came in just before noon today.
He was such a great actor and an amazing human being. It's definitely a tragic day for everyone and the entertainment world will not be the same. Thank you for all the laughs.
With all of the battles with addiction and depression he had when he was younger, many didn't expect him to make it to 40. He proved them wrong, and left a lasting legacy. He was an amazing comedian and actor; one of my favorite comedy shows of all time was him when he was younger pulling John Ritter (Three's Company) from the crowd and them ad libbing a bunch of stuff. Awesome.
I would never thought that about Robin Willams he was a comedian legend he also was a gut buster there wasnt a time he didnt make me laugh especially in his role as JACK one of my main favorites r.i.p Robin Willams you might be gone but never forgotten.
