Hey folks, just giving you all the dirt on me and my recent inactivity: we bought a house and have been packing and getting ready for almost 2 months now. Good news is that we finally closed and move in Saturday! Give me another week or so and I'll resume flexing my spam muscles for your entertainment. Once we unpack and get all settled in I'll be able to run amuck like normal. We've been renting all this time and finally decided we're tired of paying someone else's mortgage. 2000 sq ft on 2 acres outside of Sedona. I'll schedule a gamer gathering soon
In other news, Facebook friends saw this possibly, I cut the hell out of my hand the other day. Stupidity was involved, IE, wrong tool for the job, and I ended up cutting part of the muscle that manages my thumb and index finger on my left hand. My thumb has started to recover nice and quick, but my index finger will take a while. If you're not squeamish, a couple pics are on my fb page:
Holy heck, and ouch! I cut my finger open a few times and even required stitches, but never anything like that!! Daaaaang! Sorry to hers about that and hope you get better soon. Congrats on the house, were still trying to get up there if not you'll need to give me your addy so I can ship this box off to you...
Thanks again everyone. Here's a quick update: we are moved in and I gave the rental keys in earlier today. Internet won't be up for a bit since they have to dig and bury a cable to reach the house - rural living yay.
The cut on my hand is slowly healing. The stitches are expected to come out Saturday. I've done some physical therapy already on it and am regaining strength very rapidly, so much so that I'll be playing on my new Xbox One in no time
Glad to you hear you are all moved. When I first moved to the west side of Michigan, I moved 3 times in the first year and it was such a pain. Thankfully, Mr. pTart and I have stayed put since we bought our house 5 years ago. I really hate moving. Hope the forever long unpacking process goes smoothly.
