zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Game Breaker.

Easily unlocked in a custom Firefight game.

You can make yourself invincible, with unlimited jet pack fuel, and a Fuel Rod Gun that never needs to be reloaded and make this *extremely* easy.

    zoidberg1339 posted a guide for I Didn't Train To Be A Pilot.

Very easy to get this during normal play as long as you’re keeping an eye out for the AA batteries. There’s more than three, so you shouldn’t have to hunt for them too much.

The achievement description does not mention this, but you have to be playing on Normal difficulty or higher. It will NOT unlock if you’re playing on Easy difficultly.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Rigged to Blow.

Plant TNT, a Teller mine, or a grenade on an enemy corpse and convince an enemy to come near it. If necessary, you can move a body into position before booby trapping it.

You can also booby trap a body, attract an enemy (by whistling, throwing an object, shooting, letting them spot you) and make a save as the enemy approaches. Then once your target sets off the booby trap and is killed, reload the save and repeat until you have 20 kills.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for It'll Buff Right Out.

In mission 2 there’s a courtyard area around the back of the chateau. Parked off to the side in this area will be a fancy, open top car. Throw a grenade, plant TNT, shoot it, do whatever. As long as it blows up, the achievement is yours.
  • zoidberg1339

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for The Long Game.

Don’t even worry about grinding this out, just by finishing the campaign you’ll probably get most of the way there.

If you do want to get this quickly, load up mission 3, tag every enemy you can see (there’s a lot) save, shoot them all, then load your save. You’ll make good progress in no time.
  • zoidberg1339

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Skirmisher.

You’ll need several hundred secondary weapon kills to get the weapon mastery achievements anyway, so you’ll get this eventually if you’re a completionist.

If you’re a stealthy player you don’t typically get a lot of secondary weapon kills, so you may need to be more aggressive than you otherwise would.

As far as weapon choices, I prefer the Welgun and the Thompson, but none of them are particularly bad. Experiment with different guns and attachments, and find your favorite.
  • zoidberg1339

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Master of Secondaries.

Getting mastery on secondary weapons is simple, just a grind - 150 kills per weapon, so 900 kills total across the 6 weapons. Get yourself in big, nasty firefights, get it gradually over time, blast the same couple guys and keep reloading a save, it’s up to you. No real trick to it (aside from turning down the difficulty so you can be more reckless) you just need to get kills.
  • zoidberg1339

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Master of Pistols.

Pistol mastery requires 50 Ghost kills. This is pretty easy for 5 of the 6 pistols. Just put a suppressor on and shoot an isolated enemy, ideally with a headshot. You can even save, shoot, reload the save, and shoot again, grinding out all 50 kills on one enemy.

The Webley revolver can’t be suppressed, so the best way to do this is with sound masked kills. You may want to camp out near an enemy and a generator, give it a kick, make a save, shoot while you’re sound masked, and reload as necessary. It’s hard to get unsuppressed pistol ghost kills during organic play.
  • zoidberg1339

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Master of Rifles.

Mastery for the rifles requires getting 50 headshots at 100+ meters away. In the case of the M1 carbine you may want to modify it to perform better at long range, but for the other 5 rifles they’re very capable of 100m headshots from the very start.

The beginning of mission 3 is a good place to get long range kills. Binocular tag a bunch of enemies, drop a save, shoot them, reload the save, then shoot all the tagged enemies again. You can get 50 kills fairly quickly then restart the mission with a different rifle and repeat the process.

    zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Master-at-arms.

Brace yourself for some grinding here. 18 weapons in total, 6 rifles, 6 pistols, and 6 secondaries.

Mastery for the rifles requires getting 50 headshots at 100+ meters away. In the case of the M1 carbine you may want to modify it to perform better at long range, but for the other 5 rifles they’re very capable of 100m headshots from the very start. (This is the easy part.)

Pistol mastery requires 50 Ghost kills. Once again, this is pretty easy for 5 of them. Just put a suppressor on and shoot an isolated enemy, ideally with a headshot. You can even save, shoot, reload the save, and shoot again, grinding out all 50 kills on one enemy. The Webley revolver can’t be suppressed, so the best way to do this is with sound masked kills. Achievement will unlock as soon as you master all 18 base game weapons.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Brains of the Operation.

No trickery required here, just bring your favorite scoped rifle and blast Moller in the head. He’ll pause for a moment above the stairs to the right before walking down to his car, that’s the best time to take him out. You could also wait for him to get in the backseat and shoot before he drives off. Or be Mr. Badass Sniper and go for the moving shot, it’s up to you!

    zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Can't Outrun A Bullet.

You’ll want to get a rifle set up for this otherwise it’ll be harder than it has to be.

Put on a high power scope, prioritize accuracy, scope stability, and have high muzzle velocity to limit bullet drop. Ammo capacity doesn’t matter and neither does the audible range of the gunshot, so throw on a Boys Mk II muzzle break and the overpressure receiver. You should only need one shot, so who cares if everyone hears it? I used a K98, but the Springfield would be a fine choice if you don’t have it.

When the mission starts, tag Moller with your binoculars, and turn to the right. You’re going to want to wait for him to get in his car and be driven off down the road to the right. It’ll take a bit of patience for him to get 600m away, and you may want to make a save in case you miss - perhaps once he’s 400 meters away or so.

It’ll seem like he’s going to disappear over the horizon but just keep him in sight. Adjust your scope zero with left and right on the D pad so you don’t have to aim a dozen feet above the target, otherwise you might accidentally hit the driver instead.

Once Moller gets ~575 meters away or so, hold your breath, get nice and close to your TV so you can see his tiny little head, put the red reticule over it, make sure he’s 600+ meters away, and fire.

I’m probably making this sound harder than it has to be. I did it first try and I’m an pretty average SE player, if that.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Requiescat in Pace.

Very easily obtained in a splitscreen custom game with two controllers. Just make sure that you’re getting behind your dummy account and pressing + holding the melee button, instead of just tapping it.

You don’t want to do the quick rifle bash, you want the takedown animation where you temporarily go into 3rd person view. If you see that, you know it counted. Repeat nine more times for your achievement.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Run and Gunned.

Fairly easy if you don’t mind fudging it by yourself.

Load up a custom local splitscreen game with 2 controllers on a small map. (I chose Blood Gulch) I recommend going into the match settings and turning shields off, and player health down to make one hit kills easy. Set the starting weapon to an accurate weapon you’re comfortable with, like the DMR. Make sure the armor ability is sprint.

You’ll want to get the two players facing each other in a clear, flat area. Hold the first controller (the one getting the achievement) in such a way that you can press the sprint button and push the stick forward on the second controller while still being able to aim and shoot with the first.

I held the first controller in just my right hand while I used my left hand to make the guest account sprint at my main account. It’s a little tricky but after a couple attempts I had it down. Repeat ten times for your achievement.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Don't hold your breath.

Not as hard as the rarity suggests. At the very end of mission 8 you’ll leave a submarine pen and reach a sniper position overlooking it. You’ll need to shoot the fuel pump (that you just sabotaged before leaving the sub pen) without using the hold breath/“empty lung” ability.

As I recall it’s a ~250 meter shot, so use left and right on the D pad to adjust your scope to the closest setting (200m for my rifle) and aim appropriately - a bit high in my case to account for the extra 50m.

If you miss, no sweat, there’s no time limit and you can take as many shots as you have bullets. You can even save the game first and reload it if you manage to run out of rifle ammo.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Explosive Efficiency.

Start mission 8 with a loadout containing at least one grenade.

Run along the linear path at the start of the mission until you come across a small square with 4 german troops. 1 should be near you, and the other 3 should be close together, further away from you, near an explosive gas container.

Throw a grenade at the 3 troops and you should get all three. If they weren’t clustered together, you weren’t quick enough and will need to restart. I did this first try, it’s not difficult as long as you get there before the 3 enemies finish their conversation and spread out.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Catch 'Em Napping.

Load up Mombasa Streets on rally point “sniper”.

Straight ahead of you will be a large door. Open it, and you’ll see a couple sleeping Grunts. Melee them, then load the checkpoint as necessary until you have 5 kills.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Bite The Hand.

At this stage in the life cycle of MCC this is a gimmie. Basically just get a kill in multiplayer, in any game, in any game mode. So many people have this achievement that the odds are quite good.

I unlocked this after my very first kill in multiplayer.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for What Shall We Do with a Drunken Sailor?.

You don’t actually have to unlock this by drinking to excess. Eating raw meat (obtained from killing an animal like a pig) and eating it will cause you to vomit and will also unlock this achievement, as well as “Not So Well Done”.
  • zoidberg1339

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Not So Well Done.

Eat a piece of raw meat. You can kill a pig (found on several islands) and take the pork it leaves behind. Then just eat the meat without cooking it first, and wait.

(You’ll also unlock “What Shall We Do With a Drunken Sailor” at the same time if you haven’t vomited from drinking yet.)

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Legends - "Cronch".

You can find bananas in barrels and containers everywhere, I found one within minutes of starting. Equip the banana (use LB to open the item wheel and select the food at the top) and eat it with RT.
