This can be annoying. Chapter 2 before or after you feed the cow cross the first bridge you will see crows they will turn into chickens approach the fence and walk behind a chicken. Tip take a step the chicken will scurry wait for it to stop then step again it was easier for me to keep the chicken in a line if I waited for it to stop then scare it again scurrying/stopping all the way across the bridge.
