To unlock this achievement you simply need to rescue all the buddies in both the Northern & Southern territories. There are a total of eleven buddies in the game, six in the north, and five in the south. At the start of the game you will choose one main buddy that will progress with you through the game. There will be two that are locked up in the main structures located at either the Slaughterhouse, Fresh Fish, Lumberyard, or Cock Fights. If they are not at one of the listed location then move on to the next. Three will be gained by going through the main story line. The last one can be hard to find, they have been hurt in a plane crash on a side of a mountain valley in the Middle Top square. You will need to locate all six buddies in the north before moving to the southern region or the achievement will not be obtainable.

The last five buddies are found in the south. Three of the buddies will be acquired though the main story line. The other two are found in south's main structures. One is at the Brewery in the Bottom Middle of the map and the other is at Sediko in the Top Middle part of the map. Once you get the last buddy, the achievement should unlock.

You can always check how many buddies you have through the Buddies menu by pressing the Pause menu. If you are in the South the six names from the North will now be crossed out and missing in action. The other buddies should be added to the list as you acquire them.
