A very buggy achievement. Try to get to the room where the major goes up with a pass card faster. Kill the woman inside and wait for the major to kill at the entrance. You will have a couple of seconds to pick up the pass. I needed more than 20 restarts. Good luck Smile

First, you must get 20 Orologions in any stage. This will unlock the new map "Whiteout".
Now go to Whiteout , when you pause your game to open the map, You will see a spear icon just north of the starting location, and you should see a spinning arrow pointer at the top of your screen. Just follow it, and you will quickly get the spear. Now you will unlock the new weapon "Glass Fandango". You can use randomazzo VIII - mad groove to make it super easy.
Now all you need to get Glass Fandango to Level 7. After you do that and your run ends, Glass Fandango will be a general weapon for other characters.

Easiest and quickest way to do this is to fly up the coast until you find the opening of a river, fly low up the river and you'll find 5 bridges in no time.
  • GTN Eric

GTN Eric posted a guide for Showing Some Dedication.

You can grind this out by setting up a Custom Event from the main menu.

Here are the settings I used in my custom match to help make this easier to obtain:

    Track: Motorcity Circuit
    Your Car: Any strong car
    Laps: 60
    Opponents: 23
    AI Vehicle: Lawn Mower
    Damage: Realistic
    AI Difficulty: Expert

When you begin, simply hit and wreck all of the bots with your car so you're the last one alive. Once you're in 1st, simply wreck your own car to end the race. That should take a few laps of actual driving - but by making it 60 laps you will get a handsome amount of credits and XP.

You can then rinse and repeat this method until you reach level 50.

You can also use this method to help you grind this achievement:

    Cash For Crashes 1
    Earn 50 000 Credits.
    Gamerscore 90
    Score
    4%

  • zoid

zoid posted a guide for Spared No Expense.

A recent update has made cherished trophies much quicker/cheaper to purchase.

To purchase a cherished trophy go to the Shipwright Shop at any Outpost. You have to be Class 30 (previously 100) in a Pirate Milestone to unlock the Cherished trophy. You unlock the Admired, Prized, and Treasured trophies at class 5, 10, & 20. You must buy all 3 of these before you can buy the Cherished trophy. It’ll cost a combined 300k gold to buy everything. (It used to be a million.)

You need to be aboard a Captained (owned by you, or a member of your crew) ship in order to progress towards Pirate Milestones. Some of them you will reach class 30 through natural progression. Playing for 150 in-game days, or setting foot on a different island 300 times will get you to class 30 in that Pirate Milestone.
  • itsmannyfrsh

itsmannyfrsh posted a guide for Garden Variety.

Simply set up a custom event, on any map, with a 20 mins timer. Select the lawnmower and make sure you set opponents to ZERO. Once you load into your game, you can go AFK for 20 mins. Once the 20 mins is over, repeat the process 2 more times.

Note: If you have your controller wired, you’re good, but if not, the controller may turn off so just pay attention to it.
  • itsmannyfrsh

itsmannyfrsh posted a guide for Rocketeer.

Very easy way to do this is to load up a custom event on the “Wrecking Playground” map. Choose Rocket as your vehicle, then proceed to find the cannon (I believe it’s on the right side of the map from spawn point). Just drive in the cannon, get shot out, and you’re done! No upgrades to the Rocket are needed!
  • itsmannyfrsh

itsmannyfrsh posted a guide for Human Lover.

This achievement can be done pretty easily using a private server. Simply use the following settings when setting up your server and then invite your friend/booster.

    Fairfield County
    Demolition Arena
    Last Man Standing

    Vehicle: Lawn Mower
    Damage: Realistic
    AI: None

Simply get the person not obtaining the trophy to drive straight forward and into the wall until wrecked. Rinse and repeat until you earn the achievement and then swap with the other person if necessary.
  • Zyzzy75

Zyzzy75 posted a guide for Oh grow up!.

This running gag involves a certain anagram of SPINE.
  • zoid

zoid posted a guide for Just One...More...Term....

Self-explanatory. You’ll easily put 5 hours into the game just by playing a campaign mission or two.

Note that the Xbox achievement progress tracker only advances in 1 hour increments (20%, 40%, etc) so don’t worry if it looks like your play time isn’t being tracked properly.

Progress towards this can be earned in campaign, sandbox mode, or the tutorial.

zoid posted a guide for I Owe You Nothing.

There’s a few ways of making Swiss bank money outside of Broker requests.

One option is to have the Building Permit edict active, but this has political downsides and increases your building costs. Also, if you’re in the late game and not building much, you won’t make much money this way.

My preferred method is to wait until you’ve got a well-developed island with a strong economy - perhaps in a campaign mission once you’ve completed all the objectives - and use Banks. If you research the Bank you unlock alternate work modes, and Slush Fund will divert money into your Swiss account.

With two Banks set on Slush Fund I managed to get this relatively quickly. Just make sure that you go the whole mission without completing any Broker requests, as that will void the achievement.

zoid posted a guide for Terraformer.

Like the description says, you only need to *generate* 15 random sandbox maps. You don’t have to actually complete the game.

Many achievements either require you to play a sandbox game, or are just easier in sandbox versus a campaign mission. You’ll get some progress towards this while going for other achievements, so I wouldn’t bother with this until later.
