Journeyman G25:
Play 10,000 Solitaire games, or begin a game on Windows 8 and finish it on Windows Phone.

There is a quicker way to get this without having a computer running Win8 - I've just done this and can verify that it works:

I used VirtualBox to create a Virtual Machine running Win 8.1 - you need an installation disk for this, there are various ways to "acquire" this including downloading an evaluation copy from the Microsoft website - this is free and the license lasts for 90 days. Once installed on the virtual machine simply sign in, install the game from the store, start a game and then close solitaire. Then open on your phone, select "Cloud" when prompted and finish the game and the achievement will pop. As noted in one of the other solutions, you don't need to win, just play until there are no more moves left.

HOWEVER there is a snag! You will get an achievement in the Win8 version for flipping over your first card - there is no way around this. So for anyone worried about then having to complete the Win8 version maybe this isn't the solution for you.

There's two ways of unlocking this achievement:
1. Winning 10 thousand games total
2. Beginning a game on the PC version and finishing it on Windows Phone.

Since obviously the second option is much more manageable, I'm going to add a few words about it.

You do NOT need to start the PC version's achievements at all, just start up any of the games (preferably Klondike) and click on any of the cards (choose the ones that do not have any possible moves corresponding, if you don't plan on playing the PC version afterwards). Then close it and start up the same game from 'the cloud' on WP.
