This is an unobtainable achievement as of 1/1/2018 due to server closures. There is some speculation that some have been able to unlock it in 2018, but only by having started the final match of the game in 2017 and simply never getting around to finishing it until 2018. The consensus is that no one can unlock it anymore, however.

For what it’s worth, this was formerly unlocked by playing through most of the game until you share your news of turning professional with your mother, at which point the game will prompt you to purchase the full NBA 2K17 game. By declining this, you would be presented with an option to play a bonus game. Completing this bonus game would have unlocked this final achievement.
