Smart-Link is pulling the left trigger to use your sights. So much like the name of this description, you need to play through the mission "Glassed" without pulling your left trigger (default controls). If you have an elite controller you can simply disable that trigger to make it easier, so you don't pull it by mistake. This can be done on easy, so send your team ahead, shoot from the hip, and provided you haven't touched that trigger, the achievement will pop as soon as you complete the mission.
