    zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Just One...More...Term....

Self-explanatory. You’ll easily put 5 hours into the game just by playing a campaign mission or two.

Note that the Xbox achievement progress tracker only advances in 1 hour increments (20%, 40%, etc) so don’t worry if it looks like your play time isn’t being tracked properly.

Progress towards this can be earned in campaign, sandbox mode, or the tutorial.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for I Owe You Nothing.

There’s a few ways of making Swiss bank money outside of Broker requests.

One option is to have the Building Permit edict active, but this has political downsides and increases your building costs. Also, if you’re in the late game and not building much, you won’t make much money this way.

My preferred method is to wait until you’ve got a well-developed island with a strong economy - perhaps in a campaign mission once you’ve completed all the objectives - and use Banks. If you research the Bank you unlock alternate work modes, and Slush Fund will divert money into your Swiss account.

With two Banks set on Slush Fund I managed to get this relatively quickly. Just make sure that you go the whole mission without completing any Broker requests, as that will void the achievement.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Terraformer.

Like the description says, you only need to *generate* 15 random sandbox maps. You don’t have to actually complete the game.

Many achievements either require you to play a sandbox game, or are just easier in sandbox versus a campaign mission. You’ll get some progress towards this while going for other achievements, so I wouldn’t bother with this until later.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for From Knight to Little Duck.

Playing through the campaign will get you a good amount of progress towards this, but probably not enough to complete it.

You can build unnecessary bridges to nowhere during campaign missions, or just start up a sandbox game on a map with multiple islands and make bridges until it unlocks.

Building bridges is pretty easy, you just use the regular road building tool. Only tricky thing is remembering to not start the bridge too close to the shore. You need to be a couple squares away from the water to start your bridge properly.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for One Does Not Simply Stage A Coup.

Start a sandbox game with a $200k treasury, in World Wars era (or later, I did Cold War), and 50 starting population.

Your palace guards will never side against you in a coup attempt, so upgrade your Palace to get 4 more guards and max the budget to increase their combat effectiveness. Don’t build any other military buildings.

Now you need to upset the Militarist faction, which you can do by building Embassies. I quickbuilt a dozen of them and that was enough on medium difficulty, your results may vary based on your settings.

You’ll know you’ve built enough when you get an Ultimatum from the Militarist faction. Make sure all 8 job slots at your Palace are filled, then abandon the Ultimatum, which will trigger the coup attempt.

The Palace guards should be more than capable of fending off the coup, although you may need to wait for them to arrive at the Palace. The achievement will unlock as soon as the attackers are defeated.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Synchronized and deadly.

Pretty easy to get this with a co-op partner as long as you’re able to synchronize your shots via party chat.

This doesn’t need to be particularly stealthy either. A friend and I unlocked this by simultaneously shooting 2 enemies who were in direct view of a third.

Snappleback posted a guide for Silver.

Just an addition to C64 Mat - You will need to restart your game in order to get this to unlock. This happened to me on both Console and PC.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Tea first.

This can be unlocked right at the start of the game in a small tutorial. Pick up the teapot and use it on the teacup. Then pick up the milk and use it on the teacup. Easy.

Start up a new game and do it the other way around to unlock Milk First too.

    zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Don't Panic!.

This will require a bit of a grind but fortunately, like many Tropico achievements, it can be unlocked in sandbox mode. Start up a new game in Modern Times with unlimited money, and the difficulty turned down if you like.

Quick build a couple solar plants, a few research labs, and the space program. Upgrade everything, max the budgets, and hire foreign workers to fill all slots. Once you have 5,000 Knowledge points saved up, go to the space program and launch a prestige mission. It says it takes one year but on max budget and staff it should only take 240 days.

Once the mission is complete, there is a chance to get a special event. You’ll know it you get it because Penultimo will say something and you’ll get the achievement. Keep running space program prestige missions while quick building whatever you need to keep people happy. Every prestige mission increases approval by 5, so that will help.

It took me about 25 in-game years to finally get the special event, but part of that time was spent setting everything up and I didn’t always start the next mission as quickly as I could have. Just keep those Knowledge points rolling in so you can fire off a new mission every 8 months and you’ll get this eventually. I got it after about 15 missions.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Sublime Subliminal Supreme.

Start up a Sandbox game starting in the Colonial Era. (If you don’t have the Watch The World Burn achievement yet, set the win condition to advance to World Wars Era.) Start with $200k treasury, 50 population, and lower the difficulty.

Buy the upgrade for the Palace (4 more troops) and build at least one - I built 2 - Forts. Max the budgets and wait for the job slots to be filled.

If the Revolutionaries send you any requests, complete them, and take the “10 Revolutionary immigrants” reward. These should be easy requests like build a tavern, produce 1000 corn, etc.

Go into your Almanac, then find your list of Royalists. Pay $3k to put a Kill order on as many of them as you can. Your soldiers will seek them out and kill them automatically.

Gradually repeat these processes, accumulating more Revolutionary immigrants on Tropico by completing requests, and killing the Royalists who show up on each freighter. Eventually the achievement will unlock.

I had 80 Revolutionaries, something like 2 Royalists, and a total population of 112 when it popped.

zoidberg1339 posted a guide for Watch The World Burn.

Easily done in a Sandbox game starting in the Colonial Era with the win condition set to advancing to the World Wars Era. Turn the difficulty down if you like.

You can’t build Fire Stations in Colonial, so you’re not required to consciously avoid them. All you need to do is advance to World Wars like any other game.

(I combined this with Sublime Subliminal Supreme and got two achievements in one game.)

From the main hall of the mansion, go down the right corridor into the Study. Read the newspaper on the table.

Read posted a guide for Lucky Amplifier.

Not entirely sure if this was a coincidence, But this achievement unlocked on both versions (XB/W10) as soon as I unlocked my first hero. So try unlocking the first hero if you're having issues with the RNG aspect.

Snappleback posted a guide for Hammered.

    Deathfog Method

    Undead Dwarf
All available attribute points into strength
One combat ability point in pyromancy and the other in polymorph
Learned the skills Haste (pyro) and Chameleon Cloak (poly)

I ran through the prologue until I got to second floor (setting your base class to any that would typically use a bow will give the evidence chest a high chance of having a bow that can be used to detonate the barrel easier when you get to it). Then, after getting the key, stood outside the door and casted Haste on myself. Opened the door and booked it to the barrels mashing A button. I got both but dropped one. Once in Fort Joy I ran up the ladder on the right side of where Dallis and them are. Got a little behind the two guards by the main doors and casted Chameleon Cloak. Used the toss item option to place the barrel as close to Alexander I could and shot the barrel instantly.

This took less than 5 minutes...most of that being load times.
    Hope that helps!
