Start any race and hold "RT", the speed indicator located on the lower right side of the screen will charge and the circle at the top will turn green, then push the left stick forward and wait for the bar to charge again, when it reaches the yellow circle, press "A" to boost. When you start boosting, press "Y" to taunt.
