Not entirely sure if this was a coincidence, But this achievement unlocked on both versions (XB/W10) as soon as I unlocked my first hero. So try unlocking the first hero if you're having issues with the RNG aspect.

    Deathfog Method

    Undead Dwarf
All available attribute points into strength
One combat ability point in pyromancy and the other in polymorph
Learned the skills Haste (pyro) and Chameleon Cloak (poly)

I ran through the prologue until I got to second floor (setting your base class to any that would typically use a bow will give the evidence chest a high chance of having a bow that can be used to detonate the barrel easier when you get to it). Then, after getting the key, stood outside the door and casted Haste on myself. Opened the door and booked it to the barrels mashing A button. I got both but dropped one. Once in Fort Joy I ran up the ladder on the right side of where Dallis and them are. Got a little behind the two guards by the main doors and casted Chameleon Cloak. Used the toss item option to place the barrel as close to Alexander I could and shot the barrel instantly.

This took less than 5 minutes...most of that being load times.
    Hope that helps!

C64 Mat posted a guide for Silver.

    NOT missable

    When:
You should have the cash to do this after a couple of resets, if not before.

    Method:
Stick with the first deck - the cheapest one. As you click on the treasure chest to collect cards, the 24 slots at the bottom of the screen will fill up. When you've gotten all 24, you'll have to spend a crystal to continue with that deck.

Simply click on the chest, then select a card from the deck below to upgrade it from bronze to silver (I recommend the Lizard Den for a healthy gold boost).

That card will bow upgrade, and your deck will clear ready to be collected again.

    When:
At any point during the game, but relies on RNG. Save up your leaves!

    Method:
Easy, but random. On the first deck, gather up all the leaves you can, and click on the "boost" button on the right hand side of the screen. This will add a small boost to a random card's stats from your current deck, as signalled by a small sword icon in the corner of a card. Each card can have several of these.

Keep on clicking the boost until the RNG gives you four boosts on one card, and that's it!

This achievement can unlock even if you haven't gotten the card yet, as the boost can be applied to cards you haven't earned. So just click away until you get it.

Buggy as shit. Just a heads up I had my xbox off for quite a while and I had even finished the full story and started some of the DLC before powering it down, when this popped. Buggy beware...

This is an unmissable and is completely story related but may not pop at first.
  • Tetamanjaro

Tetamanjaro posted a guide for Ne Plus Ultra.

This achievement pops when you acquire an Unrivaled (gold) tier weapon.

Those playing the Game Pass version of the game or have the Vampire Hunter Pack will receive one once they have completed the beginning of the game (secured the Fire Station).

For those looking for Unrivaled weapons for whatever reason, I found a few places where you can farm them; with some locations providing perma-drops.

    In Redfall Commons (map):
This is a restaurant behind the Fire Station (across the street). Once outside of the station, turn around to your left and through the shed (crouch to enter). After leaving the shed (door to the right), keep an eye out for openings in the fence (to your right).

Be careful, there might be enemies in the street and/or in the Live Lobster area (humans + Vamps) depending on the difficulty, and when in your campaign run you do this. Go up the fire escape and punch the window, crouch through and on the outside wall of the room to your right you’ll find the Home Alarm Fuse Box which you can turn off for free.

To your left use one lockpick for the door and one lockpick on the save under the bed to the right of the room.
    • Wheeler's Sporting Goods (picture)
Go to the main entrance (white double doors to the right), punch one of the large windows and enter, head to the back of the store (straight ahead) and open the double doors where you’ll find the Home Alarm Control System to your left (behind the door).

Head back through the double doors and to your left you’ll find your first Unrivaled on the weapons rack. Go through the double doors (again Lol); use one lockpick to open the white double doors to the right, and use one lockpick to open the big save to your left.
Here you must be careful; there are a number of enemiesincluding vampires. I suggest you get them to fight each other, and take your time; because you don’t want them all to gang up on you Wink. When you’re done cleaning the area or use Cloak, enter the gas station and head to the back office (to the right). Once inside, use one lockpick on the supply crate to your left.
Here I recommend entering the shop using the left white door at the back using one lockpick (this will activate the alarm); once inside turn right and use one lockpick to open the save.

    In Redfall Burial Pont (map):
Go in through the front doors. Head in, and in the second room (in front of you) you’ll see stairs that go up and down to the right. Head down and in front of you you’ll see the a white door. Use one lockpick to open the door and one lockpick to open the Weapons Crate to your left.

    [NOTE]
Eventually some of these will stop providing Unrivaled weapons, but I can assure you that the Basswood Pawn Sop Save, the Milo's Market Supply Crate and the Police Station in Burial Point will always provide you with a Unrivaled drop.

EightVessel6908 posted a guide for Strive For Perfection.

    Strive For Perfection G50:
Complete every Daily Challenge in a month.

You need to complete every challenge in a month (5 per day). For now, February 2021 is the best month to do as it only have 28 days and therefore only 140 challenges.

If you are having trouble with some challenges as they can be really hard, here is a playlist (credit goes to Zeming Jin) showing most of the daily challenges solutions :

    https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...02esq-L00-hJWB

As for expert Score and Match attack, just keep trying and you'll eventually get them. Try to memorize where the pairs are.

And a final general advice, try to get rid of the top titles first to make as much room as possible. You can also undo as much moves as you want.

EightVessel6908 posted a guide for Hat Trick.

    Hat Trick G50:
Match three identical pairs in a row.

    Update:
    - It has been confirmed that this indeed does work. All you need to do is to:
    1. Match any pair of tiles
    2. Undo the pair you just matched
    3. Match the same pair of tiles again
    4. Undo again
    5. Match the same pair of tiles for a 3rd time
    And your achievement should pop!

    Original Post:
    - To get this one you need to match the exact same tiles 3 times in a row.

    - I may have found an easier way but can't confirm this 100% works as I done this by accident.

    - I matched a tile but I realized I made a mistake and used undo on my last tile, then I matched another 2 sets of tiles which were exactly the same as the one I undid, then the achievement popped at the bottom to my surprise and I realized what I did.

    - So you may be able just to undo the same tile twice to match it up 3 times, or it only works the way I just described myself. If anyone can confirm in the comments that be great. Hope this helps!

EightVessel6908 posted a guide for Endurance.

    Endurance G60:
    Complete a Puzzle Pack.

    - There are currently 8 puzzle packs available (2 default packs in the first release of the game, plus more that can be downloaded). More might get added with future updates. There are usually 100 puzzles in each pack. Puzzles range in difficulty, including Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert.

    - How you finish them doesn't matter, though. So, Hint and Shuffle and Undo are all fine. This seemed true for me early on, but now I'm not too sure. Requesting confirmation from a few people to see how you're getting along.

    - While going for this, you should get lots of other achievements. I suggest going for the 10 Quick Play puzzles first, because those count toward this if they appear in the same puzzle pack you're using.

EightVessel6908 posted a guide for Chain Master.

    Chain Master G40:
Complete 10 chains of 5 or more.

To get this achievement, you can follow this.

    Puzzle: Puzzle 1 (Key)
Theme/Tiles: Default Theme or Large Print Tiles (with visible numbers) or Playing Cards or Modernized Stick Version of the Default Theme (Minochrome or Colored)
    Other Enhancements: Turn sound on

The key puzzle is super easy. The suggested themes help immensely because they clearly have the tiles grouped by suits. There are no dragon, wind, flower or season tiles (or theme-based equivalents) in that puzzle. There are only the gems, bamboos and characters titles (or theme-based equivalents) in that puzzle. Easy. As such, you will make some serious chains. If you are lucky, you might get the Space Train achievement too. With the sound on, if you match a pair, you will hear a sound. I will give a guide on what notes to listen out for. It is worth a try.

Here is the breakdown when you make your matches (you may want to remember that Do-Re-Mi tune from The Sound of Music):

Using tiles from a single suit:
    1st match: Do
    2nd match: Mi
    3rd match: So
    4th match: Ti
5th and more matches: So (with cymbals and chimes; accompanied by visual expolding effect)

Folks who know musical notes may appreciate this even more. Anyways, if you go back to the first note (Do), the chain was broken. If you can match up to the enhanced "So" note, that is a chain of 5. Go for it 10 times and this achievement is yours. Musicians who play (pun intended), I will tell you what the notes themselves are later on.

EightVessel6908 posted a guide for Tail End.

    Tail End G40:
Win 4 puzzles of different difficulty in a row from Easy to Expert.

    - This achievement unlocked after I completed 3 puzzles from Easy, Medium, to Hard. I didn't have to do an Expert puzzle for it to unlock.

    - You can use hints liberally, and you get one reshuffle per game. These make the puzzles pretty much a cakewalk even on Hard.

    - Comment by WcG iFredy29 (if you're having issues): I noticed that when I was playing through Puzzle Pack No.1 it just unlocked automatically when I did an Easy, Medium, Hard them another Hard level, but from memory I'm sure I had to do 4.

EightVessel6908 posted a guide for Wind Waker.

    Wind Waker G40:
Match the following tiles in sequence: N, E, S, W.

    - This one took a few tries, but eventually, I got a decent tile placement.

    - You're going to want to hunt this cheevo on a level that has the tiles spread out on at least a medium level difficulty.

    - I suggest Puzzle Pack 1 - Puzzle 11.

    - The tiles are fairly spread out compared to other configurations, so the odds are better that the N,E,S,W tiles will show up in spots that work for this cheevo.

    - Each attempt, you get two sets of North tiles to match up just in case one of the other cardinal direction tiles is buried underneath.

**Don't worry about undoing moves! The cheevo will still pop**

EightVessel6908 posted a guide for Unstoppable.

    Unstoppable G40:
Complete 5 Expert puzzles without using a Reshuffle, Undo, or Hint.

    - The good news - you can redo the same Expert puzzle over and over again until you get this.

    - Puzzle Pack 1 #21 and #75 are generally easy Expert puzzles that can be bulldozed through in a few minutes without much planning. Personally I find #75 easier but that's a personal choice.

    - There are times you may still hit "no more tiles". Just select retry and the tiles will be refreshed for you to try again.

EightVessel6908 posted a guide for Diamonds Are Forever.

    Diamonds Are Forever G30:
Win a Diamond Daily Challenge badge.

    - A Daily Challenge badge is rewarded at the end of each month, Diamond is the last one you unlock at about 120 puzzles, around twenty-four days of puzzles.

    - There's a total of 140-155 puzzles per month, so you've got some room if you find some too difficult.

Note: You can change "month" in the top right corner of the Challenges tab. You can go back and do the past months, meaning you don't need to work on this month.

    Note on Badges:
Each challenge is a different difficulty, and reward different levels of coins. At the time of writing, both the number of coins required for each Badge and the number of coins rewarded, are not shown. The above is only a rough estimate of how many puzzles you will need to solve for each badge, and will vary depending on how many of each puzzle you do. It will be fastest if you only do hard puzzles, but they will also take you longer to do.

    Go For The Gold G60:
Win 8 Gold Daily Challenge badges

A Daily Challenge badge is rewarded at the end of each month, so this one will take you a full year to complete. roll
EDIT: If you have premium, you can go back to September 2020 without touching your phone settings, making the achievement available as of August 2021.
If you don't want to spend money on premium, then you can go into your phone's settings and set the date to 31st of Dec, 2020, and you will have access to November and December, saving 2 months of your time!
More on this in the "Note on Date & Time + Warning:",

To earn them you need to do Daily Challenges and earn points from them, luckily, each badge includes the ones below it, so if you earn Gold, you will also get Silver and Bronze.

    - Bronze ≈ 30 puzzles, or about six days of puzzles.
    - Silver ≈ 60 puzzles, or about twelve days of puzzles.
    - Gold ≈ 90 puzzles, or about eighteen days of puzzles.
    - Diamond ≈ about 120 puzzles, twenty-four days of puzzles.

There's a total of 140-155 puzzles per month, so you've got some room if you find some too difficult.

Note for people reading in/after Dec 2021:
You can change "month" in the top right corner of the Challenges tab. You can go back and do the past months. You can also change year with the arrows at the top of the calendar. However, the game released to mobile in January 2021, so it won't be until mid-late December 2021 that this achievement will be available.

Note on Date & Time + Warning:
As JettSeriesX has said in the comments, you can go into the settings of your device and change your date & time to the end of last year, which will give you access to the puzzles from the 20th of September, 2020.
I would be cautious about doing this, as tracking on Microsoft's mobile games can be picky. I would do this at the start of a month before you've done any challenges for the current month, or at the end when you've done all of them that you need to do. This should give the game enough time to update. Noodles Jr said it took his game a few days to update before it showed the progress, so just be patient!

    Make 10000 matches.

    - In my opinion there is no need to specifically work towards this achievement as you will get this achievement eventually while playing, just work towards other achievements and you will get this.

    - However if you do what to power towards this achievement, then I recommend just picking an easy puzzle and doing it over and over, Puzzle pack 1 Level No.1 is a good example of this, there are not many matches to be made on this level but that makes it easier to spot matches and the tiles are very large.

    - All matches made in this game count towards the achievement including puzzle packs and the daily challenges.
