Wildcard Piñatas can be created by collecting all the hearts on the romancing attempt that will give you your 7th piñata of a species. In other words, on the romancing attempt that will make you a master romancer for that species, collect every heart on the screen, not only those required to successfully romance. The score summary screen once the romancing is complete should say "Wildcard bonus." If so, the piñata that hatches will be a wildcard. Do this with 10 different species - typically the lower a piñata is ranked in the piñata awards screen, the easier their romance maze.

If you can do the above AND finish with 10 or more seconds left on the clock, you will get TWIN wildcards, allowing you to work toward that achievement as well. Most mazes will be better suited to one or the other, not both, though. But you also have the option of selling piñatas down to 6 of a species and romancing again for the other bonus. For example, get 6 Bespotti, and start the romancing game for the 7th. Collect all the hearts on this attempt to get your Wildcard Bespotti. Sell one of your regular Bespotti to take you back down to 6, romance again, and finish as quickly as possible (leaving 10+ seconds on the clock) to get your twin Bespotti.

If you lose track of which piñatas you have already used to get either wildcards or twins and do not want to spend time possibly duplicating your efforts, check your piñata awards. While twins and wildcards are not noted here, any piñata that does not have the "master romancer" award has likely not been used for either twins or wildcards since your "master romancer" attempt is the one that will give you one or the other.
