Lore in the form of datachips are obtained by collecting your daily datachip starting from character level 5. You can collect them at either Starfleet Academy by speaking to Commander Viala or the Klingon Academy by speaking to Loresinger Ch'toh.

Rules & tips:
1. The datachips need to be used on a single character!! Do not use them on alts.
2. Each of your characters can do the daily meaning you can do this multiple times a day.
3. Datachips can be put on your account bank so you can transfer them to your main character.
4. Datachips can be bought and sold at The Exchange. (Player Market)
5. The daily datachip cooldown is 20h.
6. It is possible to get duplicate datachips.
7. There are approximately 170 datachips.
