You can unlock this achievement starting in Sequence 6. Simply interact with the book located next to the harbormaster in the Davenport Homestead. This will open a list of available upgrades for the Aquila. I believe the cheapest upgrade (Extra Cannon) is £2500. Buy any upgrade and this achievement is yours.
