If your having trouble with this use one of the characters with a ranged attack. I used Scarlet, Pick the Flaming Warrior for the boss as its easy to dodge his ranged attacks. Put the boss fight area right next to your town. Once you beat the boss all you have to do is go back to town and talk to the mission giver and the exit portal will appear. exit and it will unlock. this is the only mission you have to do to beat a crossroads adventure.
