This achievement is unlocked when you escape the from the Ranger station at the start of the game and head towards the town at the bottom of the road. You will have a walkie-talkie and will be guided to the church in town where a group of survivors have gathered. Make your way to the church, find the survivors, and the achievement will be yours.
