So, been a week now, who else has seen this and what did you think? I'm a huge Godzilla fan, and I think this one did it justice, a few things changed but still the core value was there. I didn't quite like thier explanation of why Godzilla exist though. I'll leave it at that for now. Oh and that whole Nevada thing...too far fetched...that's all I'm saying for now.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm planning to. Godzilla is the movie industry's CoD. I think my friend told me there have been over 30 Godzilla films now. Not saying it's bad, I just felt like saying that.

Oh man! All the orange soda spilled out of my cereal.
So, giant monsters, rampaging across the planets = just fine.

Finding one of those monsters in a cocoon, and moving it to Nevada where we keep radioactive waste = WOAH! HOLD ON NOW!

And there are plenty of Toho films that use the same explanation for Godzilla.

Well now that I think about it, I think that I'm not so mad at the explanation of what Godzilla exists, but the reason why he shows up and what the good scientist assumed he would do.
