I don't mind the humor when its appropriate, but Batman? MAy I remind you of what George Clooney and Val Kilmer did to Batman with humor and I know it wasn't all they're fault it was writers, producer etc.

Batman has ALWAYS had humor. It actually helps to make him uncomfortable and offputting.

Telling Aquaman he hears he can talk to fish is humor.

The Christopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy has humor all throughout it. Bruce Wayne acting like a complete douche with the models in the reflecting pool before buying the hotel was humor. Humor is extremely important.

The sentient dumpster fire that was Batman v Superman did not have humor.

Hopefully its just a bad feeling.

Wonder Woman looks solid. It seems like DC is finally learning from its numerous missteps and learning what to copy from Marvel.

Turns out, comic book fans and generic movie goers like a little humor. You can't have all your protagonists be Murderbot 2000s, and never smile while murdering...

And, on many levels, Wonder Woman is not that dissimilar from Captain America, so, basically a gender-swapped Captain America: The First Avenger set in WWI instead of WWII looks right up my alley.

I don't think the Justice League trailer showed us a lot we didn't already know, other than Aquaman won't be 100% brooding sad-douche.

As an aside, why is Captain Kirk 300 years in the past? Will this lead into the reboot of the reboot?

DC movies/tv shows tend to be more serious while Marvel is all about humour. I probably won't got the pictures to watch it but I'll check it out when it's "available"

Since DC has wholesale rebooted multiple times since the 1980s and gone back and declared stories from the 40s and 50s to actually be the alternate universe, which it has since destroyed, but left in a pocket existence, but destroyed again, and then undestroyed, it does get a little muddy.

(That last bit is not at all sarcasm, that is a 100% accurate statement about the history of DC comics.)

Also, the invisible jet was always one of the dumbest comic items, since she can fly (in most continuities), does that mean she is just lazy? Or, does she just fly weird, in a sitting position, unlike all other fliers, who lay forward. Maybe she doesn't like explaining her bizarre flying style and just tells everyone she is in an invisible jet...

Ah, most of my exposure was the TV series, apparently it was shot as a period piece at first, but most of the run was during "current day" when most of you whipper snappers weren't around.
