I'm not sure what other people's experience has been???

But, since we really only have XBOX, shouldn't we ask for the user for their gamertag/etc on the sign up page? I think people sometimes forget to do this until they realize they are not getting scanned.

Or optionally, add some helpful guidance in the welcome email.

Yeah, I've noticed a few people that sign up with their gamertag as just their username, and don't know about the extra step for their gamertag sync. Would almost make more sense to just have the one option to sign up using your gamertag, and it is automatically your username. Never really understood having the option for a different username like they do at x360a.

I'll second...er third this.. although some people may not like there GT and that's probably why it was set up that you can choose a different name but going with only one option for just using your GT sounds so much more easy and may stop some confusions. This is an Eric call though to be for sure..

As t for Steam games, I'm not sure about about, but I don't believe we've ever had that many. The only links I see to PS is the one taking you to the PS network. So yes the focus is on the the Xbox ecosystem.
