Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

A while back, Borderlands 3, or better known as Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, was announced. Storyline wise, it takes place between the first and second game, as you can tell by the "Pre-Sequel" in the title. Extremely clever and original might I say.

I'm genuinely psyched about this! I've always loved Borderlands, especially the crude humor in that game. Oh, and CL4P-TP, or better known as the lovable robot Claptrap. Who doesn't love that guy. Anyway, I usually only 100% games that I love, and I 100% both of them, except Borderlands 1. I was glitched 3 times on the same achievement and I decided to give up. Pissed me off so much. But nevertheless, I plan on preodering this game as soon as possible and possibly buy a limited edition if they offer it and I can afford it.

I would also add TrueAchievement's article, but I'm afraid that it would cause some controversy or something.

Oh man! All the orange soda spilled out of my cereal.
I hear this is a bit shorter/smaller than 2 was. I'm not sure if I'll get it or not.
You can always link to an article and give credit, or if you repost the entire article just site the source and give credit where it's due, unless otherwise noted on their site news is generally open for reporting, I'd rather you do what you did though and talk about it yourself, then post a link possibly or just write an article in your own words.. But I digress..

I really liked the first one and I'm starting to get into the second, I just hate having to go back and forth between the same places over and over...but I still enjoy the game.. I missed the 2nd Ultimate collectors edition with the opening chest...man I kick myself all the time for not getting that one, maybe if they do something really snazy like that I'd preorder, but in all honesty it will come out then dump a lot of DLC on us them make it a GOY edition and sell it all for cheap...so now I'm on the fence...sigh...

Probably not the most intelligent way of going about it, but I am trying to phase out my 360 to the point that it's only used for GwG and my digital purchases. Sadly, this means I'll never give this a whirl unless it comes out for Xbox One.

Like I said, I know it doesn't make sense because a game is a game regardless of the system.. it's just a weird mentality I have.

I maybe don't "save" money on each game, but I spend a whole lot less, and I get rid of less never opened games.

I totally understand all comments here - should I buy a new 360 and finisholaying my collection or just start new on the One?

Traveller's Tales makes the Lego games, which are awesome. Telltale made The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us.

Also, this and the game you're referring to are two completely different games. There's the new point-and-click game, Tales from the Borderlands: A TellTale Game Series, which is going to be very similar to The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us where each episode costs $5 and comes out periodically. Then there's Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel which will be made by GearBox and 2K Australia. It's going to be a retail game that is already out for pre-order, although the pre-order bonus has not been announced yet.

But either way, you're right about all of that in some strange way Big Grin

I just did some side work over the weekend, so I'm looking at a 360 slim 250gb at WalMart for $200. Without Kinect - don't need it, I've got one. Maybe this week I'll be popping discs in again finally.

I have bad luck with used purchases. Had I got that deal chunky, 4 of them wouldn't have worked. Its just my luck. But, I'm getting one here soon from a rather serendipitous source. (B8TINGU)

Ok lets not hijack this thread anymore....um...yea I love this pre sequel idea, I wonder if we'll get to see some old familiar faces? I'd sure love to waste an ungodly amount of time killing waves of baddies in a Moxie arena again!
