Just to be clear; requirement for calling a VINGO is what? One line in any direction? 4 corners? One horizontal line only?

Okay, I am going to clear a few things up I thought would be clear, yet I managed to make it unclear. For that, I apologize. Below is a list of the squares that are retroactive. ALL other squares must be done during the competition.

Complete 5 Arcade Games In A Week (not retroactive)
Complete 10 Arcade Games Over a Month (Not Retroactive, long grind square over course of competition, plan accordingly)
Complete 3 Games In a Week (not 1k, finish them up, Not retroactive)
Complete 3 Retail Games In A Week (Not retroactive and goes hand in hand with 3k in a week)
Earned a minimum 1 Achievement a Day For 14 Days (Not retroactive)

I like to think everyone will have fun with this competition and would hate for anyone to feel they can't finish their cards and I definitely don't want anyone to spend insane amounts of money to win, but I would like to see gamers step outside what they normally play, even if it just to challenge yourself. I understand RPG's and Racing games have their own crowd..how could we make this more manageable next time we play VINGO?

I am always open to feedback as I want these competitions/events to be fun and enjoyable for everyone.

10K in a month, OK, I don't game heavy anymore, but, yeah, I could man up and drop some points. No issue.

Get all Forza games to 80%.

I have:

Forza 2 - 36 points
Forza 3 - 630 points
Forza 4 - 0 points
Forza Horizon - 0 points
Forza 5 - 90 points

So, I need 764 in Forza 2, 170 in Forza 3, 800 in Forza 4, 800 in Forza Horizon, and 710 in Forza 5. 3244 in 5 different Forza Games, which is somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 hours. Contest did not start until the 9, so 22 days is 528 hours. So, I have 14 hours a day to work and sleep, while the other 10 grind Forza. And get another 6756 gamerscore...

It is just a lot of REALLY heavy achievements, paired with ridiculously easy ones. (Follow you, get the 3 mystery badges, play a 4-player co-op).

And I am not trying to pile on, or sound negative either. I really like the idea of the Bingo Card. But, I would have to buy Forza 4 and Forza Horizons to win. ($59.98 to win $50) So, I like the idea, but I think the goals need to be somewhere in the middle. (And I actually like my card, as there were no easy bingos.0

That means we started on the 9th and it will go one month. However, if we don't have a winner by then, we will go into overtime. Keep playing, keep planning, and keep gaming.

This is a tricky one due to you not knowing how the other participants are doing on their cards. The 1st round could last for 14 days or it could last 4. If you are working on this one, it is most likely a second round square and beyond. It obviously carries over to other rounds.

Keep the questions coming everyone. Thanks for the participation.

I too agree with Futiles that Forza is the beast of burden in this VINGO game. If I were a participant I would really want to skip by that one for now and get to the next round =) the bonus for round two will be a life saver, if you can get it.

Completing something older than 2 years when you're a completionist could be a challenge as well. If it's on my tag that long not completed, there's probably a pretty good reason for that... Wink

There are also 2 squares requiring X1, and at least one participant with 0 X1 achievements (I think).

From my perspective, I have a few that likely won't get done:

Forza
Complete 10 Arcade Games in Month(Yeah, if I have it, and it isn't complete, either I didn't enjoy it, or it is a boosting/grinding completion - otherwise, spending $ to win and if you mean start and finish, then that is just nulled out right away)
Complete 5 Arcade in a week (pretty much hand-in-hand with above, I might do 3, but...)
3 LEGO games (I actually have 2 done, but, likely won't spend the time for a third as the timesink isn't worth it)

So, 7 of the 12 bingo possibilities is knocked out for me (7 or 13 is four corners becomes an option in the future)

And blackout is already announced as the way to win, so, I would need 4 bonuses, earning them, in addition to what I would already have to do.

It goes beyond "getting out of my comfort zone" though.

Like I said, I like the bingo idea, I just think there are not enough middle ground ones.

For future VINGO efforts I will try to make it more middle ground. However, it is what it is currently and all you can do is play, advance to the next rounds, wait for magical bonuses, win magical bonuses, and try to enjoy the competition.

There will be another competition announced next week that will make some of you happy. It is one game and one game only. Tournament style and you can probably guess where this is going, if you know what's coming around the corner!

Anyway, there are a TON of arcade games out there to finish, if you have some points on it, that's okay. I just want you to finish them up.

I started Dark Souls 2 again from where I left off and that is not a pleasant game to restart...but just so I can get it above 80% I did it. I am slowly chipping away at it.

My competitions are like Big Brother (tv show) expect the unexpected. Keep playing and keep paying attention to the thread.
