Hi everyone,

Movement on the mobile games front. It appears Gameloft has been taken over by Vivendi.

So it seems it'll probably be a good idea to finish those Gameloft titles. Who knows how long they'll be supported. On the other hand, it's Gameloft we're talking about. There was no support to begin with.

Cheers,
Eddie

The fact that so many apps won't make WP versions doesn't help either. But there may be an issue causing that which I am unaware of.

But, on to the main topic, maybe we'll get lucky and Vivendi will actually support the Gameloft games.

The main reason they give for not making WP versions of apps is the market share. The main reason most people don't buy one is it doesn't have as many apps. The old vicious circle.

As for the takeover, maybe games will get tested a little better before release and we won't see as many glitched achievements from them...I hope? GL was absolutely horrible for releasing broken games and taking for ever to patch them (if at all).

Damn, any news about the synchronization, is this still working between WP & Win 8 for lots of Gameloft titles?

I really hope they don't take over Ubisoft.
