When at the Alamo, don't forget to check the basement to see if your bike is in there!

I only ask when because the Rodeo is coming up in February, and Sea World and Six Flags are nice when it's warmer. There is also some good shopping and dining on the north side of town in La Cantera and The Rim, both of which are just past Six Flags. There is a highly regarded PGA golf course in that area as well.

BTW, on last MN podcast, there was mention of a community event at PAX, but not a podcast, so hopefully they get something together...

I used to live in San Antonio. Where will you be staying and what kinds of things are you looking to do? There are 3 food places featured on man vs food and three that were on Diners, Drive thrus and dives
When will the bass drop
So did anyone actually make it to PAX South and not leave a little disappointed?

That convention center is a nice facility and kept everything pretty close together. Plus there's plenty of places to eat. Seattle is all over the place for everything.

Went to first Pax East and that was a good location, but not big enough. Apparently they've moved it to another place, but not as much stuff to do outside of the convention.

Wish they would do something in Orlando or New Orleans or Atlanta that was a lot closer.
