This gave gets rave reviews and everyone loves it but unless I'm missing something it seems and I just run, bash, lick and jump on stuff. if that's all their is, what's the big hype?
It's considered a "glitch" game. Wonky controls, absurd physics. It's what happens if you turn on "all the cheat codes".

Yup.
It's Beautiful Katamari all over again. Stick Out Tongue

To the original poster, no idea why this game is popular. I played it at AF, and it made no sense to me why it gets play and positive reviews. I wrote it off as being too old.
I actually feel like it's more of a throwback to PS1-era games; low budget stuff full of glitches, but still funny enough to play and talk about with friends because of the things that can happen. Worth a few hours of free enjoyment, at the very least.

I should clarify, the achievement for flappy goat was not enjoyable in the slightest.

Flappy goat can go straight to hell though immediately.
