DrinkBox Studios has revealed the release date and price for Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition. The Mexican metroidvania-lite title is out from July 2nd for £11.99 / €13.99 / $14.99, for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Giantbomb talked about this game a lot on their podcast, which usually makes me more skeptical and think they are over hyped. I want to play my One though so I'll probably pick this up right away.
Sounds like an April Fools joke to me.

I played Guacamelee at PAX a few years back and was super bummed that it was only going to be on the Vita. I thought the game was a blast, and I am super excited to play it on my One.
Yup.
Some reviews rollin' on in....

Hardcore Gamer - 4.5/5

Playstation Life - 9/10

God is a Geek - 9/10

XGN - 9/10

Looks like a good choice for a Free Xbox One Game. Excited for tommorow :-)

So Palmetto, when you played it on the vita, were there any mechanics that used the back touch pad or anything that might not be as good on the One?
Awesome :-) I love it
