Game missing from Doritos series

Issues & Bug Reports

I was reading the forums and looking at the badges and I decided to check out the Doritos series (http://www.gamertagnation.com/series/series-409/) after seeing the Mmmm, Cheesy medal listed. Harm's Way should be listed here, as like Crash Course, it is a game released/published by Doritos.

Here's the description from the Xbox Marketplace (http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Pr...5-d80258410a70):
Harms Way is a fast paced, action packed race where both drivers and snipers need to team up to win the race. As the sniper, you need to blow-up the competition. As a driver you need to finish 3 laps first. To vote for this game in the Doritos Unlock Xbox contest, download the Doritos Harm's Way gamer pic by going to the Games Marketplace, selecting Add-Ons & Extras. Then find ā€œDā€ in Titles A-Z, and select Doritos Unlock Xbox II. The winner will be announced on December 29th, 2010 on Xbox Live and www.unlockxbox.com

Hmmm.. Although it may have been part of the Dorritos initial offerings, I'm not sure this qualifies as it's only published by Dorritos and does not include the Dorritos brand name in the logo nor has nothing to do with Dorritos. Where as Crash Course has the Brand name in the title and the Destruction game had active product placement as well. I think I would have to put this up for discussion. Personally I vote no on Harms Way being included. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

I would say yes. It was actively promoted by Doritos, appeared in a Doritos game hub, pretty sure it had something about Doritos in the menus...
I had no idea if was a Doritos game, but based on what I know now, it should be included.

There are screen shots on the Marketplace page that I linked in my initial post. One of those screenshots is of the Arcade / "My Games" listing screen, which shows the game as "Harms Way by Doritos" and includes the Doritos logo. I believe that it is shown in both of the overview listings in the pics.

I do see the Doritos logo on the cover/box art.

Well, if we include Dash for Destruction is included in the same "series" as the 3 Crash Course games, which in no way are similar games, then it is because they are part of the "Doritos Game Series" on Xbox. And Doritos is not listed as the publisher (Microsoft is on all of them), Doritos is the sponsor. Microsoft refers to it as "Doritos Harms Way" in the promotional material. And a search of "Doritos" on xbox.com returns: Crash Course, Crash Course add-on, Dash for Destruction, and Harms Way. And, the artwork on each actually looks more like a box art logo than part of the actual title.
Yeah, don't think there's really any need for a poll. It was just missed because Doritos isn't in the name.
