I made sure to get an achievement on my birthday to get the Birthday Gamer badge. It did not unlock.
Happy Birthday is for visiting
Birthday Gamer is for an achievement

ZeroDesolation did you save your birthday on the profile page, if so a staffer will sort it all out no worries.
You haven't entered in your birthday on the Edit Profile page. You'll need to do that first before you're able to unlock the birthday-related badges.

Ok, I know back when I joined the site, I set that info up. So I wasn't thinking that it would have been gone.

I've added it. I guess the question now is will it pick it up or not?
I thought it was to visit the site on your birthday?

Well, the site didn't pick it up. Is SSZ right and I have to do this again next year or can it be fixed? Just curious at this point.

Basically the system ay not have had time to catch up and synch this for you, thus enabling the awarding of the badge, ( it may just be a timing issue ) You can either wait a little longer or let me know and I'll award you the badge later today.

Or he could change his birthday to say tomorrow and get it, then change it back later to his real b-day.

This would only apply to those that did not previously enter a birthday. Ideally you shouldn't be changing your birthday for the sake of unlocking the badge.

I'm definitely not changing my birthday. I shall wait a year.

It only looks at the day and month so the year of your birthday doesn't matter in this case. Obviously, you can't unlock an achievement on your birthdate but you can on your birthday. Thought it was worth stating since I had someone ask me about that. Smile
