  • Hey, it’s another fishy games. This game really went unnoticed. It’s an exploration/puzzle/adventure game. Like Lara Croft in a submarine under the water… Well, that’s where most submarines work, so it all works out. There’s a nice story that goes along with it, the graphics are gorgeous the the puzzles and fun. I might have had a couple points where it wasn’t clear what to do...

  • I sort of expected an undersea element, but really the undersea part is really the roots of a big city are under water.. Something happened, probably global warming… This is a pure exploration game and you do have some pleasant interactions with the sea creatures. So, we will give this game a FISH rating of 4 stars

  • Gears, Gears, Gears, Gears… I guess we’re onto the new trilogy. I hate to say this, I bought the game, but I just don’t have the fever for this franchise anymore. Maybe it’s just cause I don’t care for grinding the multiplayer. The story was serviceable and there are some intense sections and are fun. I’m not quite sure what I wanted from the game. It is gorgeous and all of the...

  • These are the same tables and pretty much the same achievements you’ll find in Pinball FX2, the whole package might be cheaper than buying the tables separately. But if you’re going to play this, you probably already bought some of the tables. I was able to Gamefly this so wasn’t a big deal on price, seems like this collection is way too much. Only a few people...

  • It’s a cooking game in the hotly contested time travel cooking game genre. Blah, blah blah, you have to save the kingdom by ever cooking faster and faster. Basically it’s a RTS game where you have to decide the sequence of events that will maximize the amount of food you can deliver so you can cook more food and therefore save the kingdom… I enjoyed the game,...

  • Oh, another Assassin's Creed, had to go back and wrap this one up. I’ve played all of the others so got back around to this. I thought, more pirating on the seas, but somehow this missed some of the magic of Black Flag. The character, whatever his name was just wasn’t as strong and maybe his reasons were good, but I just didn’t feel it. I waited a long time for this...

  • Holy crap, I played the tutorial and quit the game. Actually I played it once and thought, what crappy graphics, then a badge came out for it, so I played it for the badge. The longer story is I know people have been playing this and enjoying it for hundreds of hours and never will finish it. If you want to sink your life into this game, you may not play...

  • Battlefield, yup, some old game, but hey, it really has a single player Campaign?! Well, almost a campaign, really a bunch of short campaigns put together. But Battlefield with a campaign. A lot of people seemed to be concerned by the WW I setting, but I think they pulled it off without the firepower feeling that weak. I played through the mini-campaigns, the tank one stood out as...

  • An adventure game that takes you through an interesting story. The setting and set pieces were pretty cool. The narrative was pretty neat in this game and I enjoyed the whole game through. This is one of those games that got a lot of accolades and was just outside of the best games of the year. It should be played for a different change in pace from the regular games we...

  • It’s a puzzle game, there’s not a lot of levels and can be played with a guide. I got all of the achievements in a whole 36 minutes and that’s only cause I worked out the first few puzzles without a guide. Really, only play this game for the points, it’s cheap.

  • This is a Pinball game. Not a sim pinball game, not as great as Pinball FX, but it is still a decent pinball game. So you’re hitting your flying squirrel around different pinball levels to get your nuts? So, it doesn’t make sense, but what the heck. I enjoyed playing it and the points came fairly quick. There is one achievement for getting all of the...

  • CALL of DUTY(said in bold movie voice), yes it’s back, but it’s not really Call of Duty, it’s Jon Snow in space! Yes, Jon Snow plays the forgettable bad guy in space. Maybe Game of Thrones actors should just stay away from space, really! With that said, I really loved Call of Duty in Space… More like a Halo in space or dare I say a Destiny(the gameplay, but not the RPG elements). ...

  • TENNIS IN THE FACE!!! This is an Angry Birds clone more or less, you shoot tennis balls at people and knock them out, know them all out and you pass the level. Knock them out in the minimal amount of balls. Of course, bonus points for knocking them out in the FACE! The progression is nice and the levels do have some variety. This is a 10 tons game so is has that...

  • It’s a FISH game, you must play it! Did I mention it has FISH?! This is an exploration game in the sea. You will go through a wide variety of environments and encounters will all of our friends under the sea. There might be a subtle narrative, but mostly this is just a peaceful relaxation. And you can just turn on the FISH and meditate. Sweet… The achievements are nice, you...

  • Walking simulator 1.0. You will be walking everywhere with a guide. The scenery is beautiful and looks like it was painted. Admit it, you’re only playing this game for the quick achievement points, there’s really not much else to say. Oh, maybe it does tell a story, but between reading the guide, you probably won’t too vested into it.

  • For a reverse trend, games are not getting single player campaigns(looking at you Battlefield). In case you missed it, Titanfall “1” didn’t have a single player mode. This was probably due to meeting a deadline, it was one of the first real One games that was not a port from the previous gen or a hacked together launch title. The single player campaign was the best...

  • This is a “jigsaw” puzzle game, like a board game, except for on a computer. Windows 10 title, you put puzzles together. The trick here is that things move in the picture in some places. Blowing leaves or flying dandelions helps find where some of the pieces go. The interface works well and is much better than a previous game on XBOX. Nice and peaceful...

  • Not much to say here, it’s Castle Crashers up scaled for the One with 1000 points now. Never fully played it on the 360. This is a great fun coop hack and slash game that I can play with the kids… Well, there’s a little blood everywhere, but at least you can tone down the gore. If you liked the original, you’ll like this, cause it’s the same thing!

  • Wanted to play this on release, never found a good sale on it and waited for a decent discount which rolled around for the holidays. Played the first game and really enjoyed it. Too many people remembered the target videos and unfortunately this made the original Watch Dogs not meet expectations even though it was a decent game. This game is the “Assassin’s Creed 2”...

  • Straight up, I played this game because there’s a badge for completing a D&D here and this was the quickest way to do it. It helped it was cheap for the holiday sale as well. What can I say good for this? It’s D&D, it has some of the classic characters and monsters from D&D. Uh, it would have been great 20 years ago. I got a badge for completing it. The bad,...

  • Okay, there is this deep dark world where there is a platform where other people can make cheap, stupid and sometimes knockoff games and put them onto Roblox. So Roblox is more of a platform where you can play a bunch of these type of games. The sad, scary thing is my kids love it. It’s probably cause I don’t let them play all of the...

  • Play it, done! Game of the year, not just racing, Game of the Year by a lot of people, media outlets, reviewers… I’d be biased cause I love racing games… As an arcadish racer all of the fun elements are there. There’s little bit of a narrative to give you some direction, you can ignore it if you like. But play it just so you can play the Showdown events… These are fun...

  • A punishing arcade time trial racer game from Ubisoft. I saw some people giving this game honorable mentions for racing game last year so I had to try it out. This game honestly has some fun “Trials” elements. The tracks are fairly fun and creative, there are a few stinkers. The progression does get evenly more difficult, you will know when you’ve...

  • An action puzzler ID@XBOX game went on the cheap for deal of the week and I’m a sucker for $5 games no matter how hard. This is a pure puzzle game with some timing elements, some throwing controller elements and screaming and yeling. I love my puzzle games so I gave it a shot, the puzzles are pretty cool and for a basic aesthetic it looks...

  • A game of puzzles and skill... Everybody that doesn't get this game thinks there is no skill, but there's a lot. I loved this game... The first game rocked my world for a long time until I got every peg!
