SpectreSubZero posted a guide for AF Cabracan.

Cabracan isn't that hard if you equip the right weapons. First you'll need probably a medium mech with good agility. With weapons selection, equip sometype of assault rifle on each arm. On your back, I used spread missles, but you could also use lock-on type missles(this is optional, all you really need is your two assault rifles). Also equip an ECM maker. Now when you start the mission, press LB and fly to the Cabracan.

The mines on the ground will cause the protective skirt to lift up. Once under the Cabracan, you need to fire at its Tracks(wheels). It take about 10 bullets to disable the vehicle, or 2 rockets. Now, about 50 enemy drones will be released from the AF. You'll have to wait under the skirt, till you allies get to you and blow off the skirt of the AF.

Now here is where you assault rifles come in, and make this a lot easier. Stay under the AF strafing from side to side, locking on target drones, as you do press A and X at the same time. It will probably take 4-6 bullets to kill each drone. Once you kill about 25-35 of them, get out in the open, strafing from side to side shooting as you go. Once all drones have been destroyed, Achievement unlocked!

Using this map, root location number 4, you will find a building with a locked metal door. Blow the door off the hinge and go inside. Everything but blood packs can be found in this building. There are 4 evil dudes in the building though, so suggest killing them before focusing on making combos.

Easy location to find the blood packs and not to far from this location, go towards root 24 marked on the map. Just past the root, you will find an over turned ambulance on the road. There should be about 5 blood packs on the ground.

For a list of combos, follow Crimson Drifters solution. ( should be noted that I did not make the two combos with the water, and the achievement popped for me).

SpectreSubZero posted a guide for Volk Cleanser.

I did this on Psychotic difficulty. Take out all 6 bosses and then go for the Final boss on the oil rig. Now this oil rig boss you make think is tough, but there is a way you can beat him in less than two minutes.
There are three platform in the water, all connected through pipes.
    1) Equip a sniper rifle and an assault rifle
    2) When on the main island, jump into the water and swim out to the 3 rig(the main oil rig with the boss on it). There should be and opening in the back of it just above the water.
    3) There is probably about 5 guys inside, kill all of them. Now jump from platform to platform inside the oil rig, till you get about half way up.
    4) You should see some pipes that go out from the inside of the oil rig, to platform 2. Jump on the pipes and run out to platform two.
    5) Now get to the very top of platform two, kill everyone you can along the way. (Easiest, just kick them over the sides into the water).
6)Once you reach the top wait a few seconds to make sure no one followed you up, if they do, kill them.
    7) Now this is the easy part. The boss is at the very top of platform 3(the oil rig). Use left trigger to look for him, he will be at the right corner of the platform that has the crane coming out of it. This is higher than the helicopter pad. You should be able to lock onto him.
    8) Take out your sniper rifle and cap him. On psychotic difficulty it took 15 bullets. I tried doing this with a rocket launcher, but every time you fire, he runs away. If you use the sniper rifle, he just stands there and lets you shoot him and never moves.

There is a shortcut to almost every boss.

Easy, easy achievement and you barely have to do anything!

Start up Nambia reflex shooting gallery.
    Complete the first two waves:
    1) shoot the wild beast
    2) shoot the wild beast and impala
On the the third wave, shoot nothing and let the tire run out. You have ten tries to complete this wave, so do nothing for all three tries, letting the timer run out. At the end of the tenth try, the achievement should pop and you should have between 26000-27000 total score

SpectreSubZero posted a guide for Cleared Story.

You must beat both the english and/or french quest line. There are two alternate endings, depending on the number of sub-quest line contracts you have completed. For example, if you complete more french contract, then by the time you get to the end of the main story questline, (these quest are marked with a (!)), then the the final contract will be French. Once you complete the main questline, this achievement will unlock, regardless of the explosives questline and engineering questline. ALSO, if you complete the game, it is safe to save. You can still complete the other two questline, and basically play quickplay contracts for as long as you want. Some contract difficulties will now appear with red stars, meaning basically insane mode. Those contracts shouldn't be much trouble, since most of your books are pretty ranked up. All in all the story with some side contracts, I did about 120 total contract, took me about 60 hrs. This game is not recommended for quick GP's!

SpectreSubZero posted a guide for Book of Engineering.

There is question and differing opinion on every site on how to achieve this. The 4 books you have to 100% to be safe is sword, horse, bow, and spear. Just 70% the rest. There is a whole story line that goes along with this also which will be in the link provided. I am 100% positive you have to 100% the book of spears, since the book of spears is part of the story line to getting the book of engineering.

The best solution I found was posted by Botafogo007 on:

    http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=71803

    Added:

Alright I just unlocked the achievement. Here is what you will have to do. You don't need to 100% horses like everyone says. You need to 100% Swords, Spears, and Bows. When you 100% a book, you will receive a silver weapon for that book. Once you get a silver sword, spear, and bow, the Avatar of War will appear and say "you are the one with the silver bow, silver sword, and silver spear..." He will then grant you the book of engineering. I've seen some who have said you have to beat one of every enemy type. I don't know if this is true, since I beat the game before going for this achievement.

SpectreSubZero posted a guide for Axe Collector.

This achievement can be really really hard if you don't use the cheat code. It would involve you 5 staring every song on Expert to unlock all the guitars for purchase.

Go to you options menu and "Enter Cheat". You must strum each note. EX. first part you hold down Green +Red+Blue+Orange then strum. When you finish the sequence there will be no sound.

    Enter:

    Press [Green + Red + Blue + Orange], [Green + Red + Yellow + Blue], [Green + Red + Yellow + Orange], [Green + Blue + Yellow + Orange], [Green + Red + Yellow + Blue], [Red + Yellow + Blue + Orange], [Green + Red + Yellow + Blue], [Green + Yellow + Blue + Orange], [Green + Red + Yellow + Blue], [Green + Red + Yellow + Orange], [Green + Red + Yellow + Orange], [Green + Red + Yellow + Blue], [Green + Red + Yellow + Orange].

Then go to expert career, then enter the store. The Axe Collector achievement should pop upon entering, along with Burnin a Hole in your Pocket, Got em' All, and Track Master. I don't normally agree with using cheats, but if your not one of the best GH3 players in the world, you won't be unlocking this achievement anytime soon!

SpectreSubZero posted a guide for Guitarist's Coattails.

I couldn't find Keyboard Cat. So I went to quickplay, plugged in all four instruments (make sure your profile is logged into the guitar), and selected Star Spangled Banner that is second from the bottom of your song list. Put everyone's on beginner, except your guitar and start the song. Simply play through on your guitar. You don't need to touch the other instruments, there is not enough notes to make them fail. The achievement should pop at the end of the song.

SpectreSubZero posted a guide for Clingy.

Not a hard achievement at all. I tried this Achievement on level one and for some reason it won't unlock. I tried multiple times on level one and nothing. So here's what you do.
    1. Once you beat the game, go to chapter selection.
    2. Select 11th hour
    3. Set to Easy (achievement says any difficulty)
    4. Once you start the mission run foward and Enviro. kill the
    guy working on the truck
    5. Now proceed through the maze of trucks grapple killing people as you go
    6. Don't shoot anyone, not even the people shooting at you in the rafters, otherwise it will reset.
    7. Using people as a meat shield will also reset the grapple kills, so make sure you press up on your D+Pad for every kill.
    8. You may have to flee every now and again to let your health regenerate.
    9. In the vehicle hanger there should be about 20-21 guys you are able to grapple, so you should have no problem getting this achievement.

SpectreSubZero posted a guide for All Bronze Arcade.

Alright, this is a solution that will allow you to win every race in your first try!
The objective of this achievement is to place first in every exhibition race. There are 15 or 16 races. Your objective is to place first, not to get the fastest time in the game. This isn't Time Trials.

So with that being said, go to your career, and buy a car menu. Select an Acura RL A-Spec. This is a D 399 class car. Now go to Upgrade and select:
    1. Anti-Roll Bar: Progress-Sport Anti-Roll Bar
    2. Transmission: Comptech Street Transmission
    3. Clutch: Street Clutch

You should be at a D 400 class now.

Now in all of the races, the computer cannot select AI opponents above your class. So if you have a D class, the AI cannot be C class or higher. If you upgrade your Acura as I have said, you should have the most powerful engine in the D class, at around 300hp, and great handling. Although when you look at the stats, and it says you a 3.1 on acceleration, it is inaccurate. You Acura will out-accelerate any other D class car, the computer puts you against.

I won every race by margins of 6 sec. or better. You don't have to be the best driver, I went off the roads many times and still came back to win the race, do to the speed of the car.

To unlock the achievement, simply place first in every race. Remember that the objective is to be in first place, not the fastest car in the game. Your car will have a max speed on flat land of around 115mph. That makes your car a lot easier to handle then a car going 200+mph! Unlocking Gold will unlock Silver and Bronze sub-achievements.

SpectreSubZero posted a guide for Shai-Gen Cleanser.

I did this on Psychotic difficulty. Take out all 6 bosses and then go for the Final boss on the Shai-Gen tower. Despite what you may think, he is actually very easy to get to, as long as you don't go through the building to get to him.

    1) Equip a FireFly Rocket Launcher and an assault rifle
    2) Start out in front of the building, right in front of the front door.
    3) Run to the left side of the building. You will see another smaller building with window all over it. Climb that building to the top. You will see a ledge to the Shai-Gen tower. If you jump to this ledge, you just eliminated 50% of enemy encounters. You can go inside the building here and work your way up...
    4) Or you can stay on top of that other building. Instead of jumping to that ledge, jump onto the wall over that ledge, you will see some black molding trim sticking out. You must be a LEVEL 4 in agility to use this path to get to the boss.
    5) Jump onto that molding trim and hang onto it like your doing a pull up. Now do "pull-up jumps" from black molding to black molding, till you get to a second ledge on the main Shai-gen building. You have now cut your enemy encounters by 75%
    6) Run inside and kill everyone using nades or your rifle.
    7) Go up the stairs, you should be in a room with large cathedral bell looking things in the middle hanging from the ceiling. Shoot everyone you can in the room. Jump onto a planter and jump to the second level/catwalk going around the room with guys on it, who were shooting down at you. Run around a full 360 degrees and kill all the guys.
    8) There should be 3 different stair cases that lead up to the third level/catwalk. Get on the third level and kill everyone. Again do a full 360 degrees around the room. From here jump on top of the closest bell to the third level. Keep hopping on top of bells till your in the middle of the room. You should see a large hole in the ceiling jump into it, and grab hold of ledge and pull your self up.
    9) You are now in the main bosses suite/office/home. run around and kill everyone in his suite, about 8-10 guys in all. There is a double staircase leading to the roof. The boss is located in a tower on the roof. Once you exit the stair way immediately turn right. You will see him about 1 story up, shooting down at you along with some of his gun men.
    10) Take out your firefly and and lock onto him. Now start unleashed, just keep pulling the trigger till he's dead. It is sometimes easier to jump while your locked onto him and fire, (gives you a clearer shot, hence more damage). All in all it took about 8 rockets on psychotic difficulty.

There is a shortcut to almost every boss.
