Marvel Ultimate Alliance (Xbox 360)

Frustration at every turn

Marvel Ultimate Alliance is way to glitchy and when that is what everyone focuses on or talks about, then all the hard work everyone has put into creating this game just means you have made a shit game. Let me share with you the many wonderful glitches the game has to offer. Black Panther has not unlocked for me even though I have the achievement and picked up all the needed statues in multiple play throughs. I save often while I play, yet costume unlocks that I have unlocked are missing the next time I load up the game. This is getting quite frustrating having to repeat the same criteria to unlock costumes only to do it again! So much so that it lowers my rating of the game one whole star.

After enough play throughs I was finally able to unlock all the costumes for Black Panther with the sim disc and he is now appearing as a playable character. The next glitch to hit me also deals with unlocking costumes with the sim discs. I have unlocked them all by completing the bronze level for each character, but the costumes for Mr. Fantastic, Captain America, Wolverine, & Iron Man still show locked. As much as I love Marvel characters, I am hating this game more and more. This glitch means that I will now have to play through the game one more time and collect all the sim discs again. I also attained gold for all the missions and Silver surfer has not unlocked, but I have the achievement for it. The achievement is more important then playing the character, but still this is just very shoddy work. It not only looks bad on the developer, but also for Marvel. No one likes putting in a ton of work with no pay off at the end and each additional play through just wears down the fun factor of the game.

  • I have to admit that when I started this game I had some preconceptions about what I was to expect from a game titled Firewatch. What I was expecting was some sort of forest simulator where you put out fires. That you would be working for the forest service as a lookout. Keeping an keen eye out for possible fires or smoke in the Wyoming wilderness. I also thought that I...

  • It’s zombies and more zombies for the killing as you play through this top down action adventure shooter. The controls are set up so that you move with the left stick and aim with the right stick. Holding down the right trigger is required to shoot. These controls are easy to master with some practice. You will be able to interact with objects by pressing the A...

  • When you think about the stealth genre in gaming Splinter Cell is one of the games that will immediately come to mind. Conviction is the second installment in the series on the Xbox 360 (fifth overall if you are counting the games on the original Xbox) that is based on Tom Clancy’s character Sam Fisher. There are books based on the character as well and just...

  • Unpacking, it’s a simple task that has been turned into a digital title for the Xbox One. It is a very easy game completion that will increase your gamer score by a good 1000 points. This is a perfect game for little kids as it can be satisfyingly fun organizing your belongings. Parents could make this game a learning moment as well for all those kids...

  • Before it arrived on the Xbox 360 in 2007, Carcassonne was first created as a board game in the year of our Lord 2000. Interestingly enough the board game was named after a real fortified city that sits on a hill in the south of France and it shares the same name as the games. 1755048507319226772 All three have a commonality that says it’s the Middle Ages.
