Earthworm Jim HD for the Windows Phone platform was one of the early "nostalgia" releases. Sadly, this is not the kind of game you want to use touch controls with. While Gameloft was true to form and ported the game over nicely, it doesn't translate well to the medium used.
Having a smaller screen, it is harder to really be aware of what's happening in the game. Not to mention your hands are going to be in the way of some of that real estate as well. The finesse required for some of the later stages is neigh impossible with touch controls. To their credit, the tilt controls for the space race levels was pretty good.
While the name may incite fond memories of crude toilet humor while you were a child, this current version is just a phone-snapping frustration fest cashing in on those fond memories.
