Drunken Fist

Interesting, funny beat 'em up style game and fairly easy completion

This game was okay and somewhat fun. And pretty funny. And an interesting take on a beat em' up style game. It's a pretty simple completion and 1000g that doesn't take too long. I'd say around 45 minutes- 1 hour. It might take you a few minutes or a couple failed attempts to get used to the wonky, clunky, and disorienting controls. The controls aren't a programming or designing flaw that my description may have implied. Your playing a guy blitzed of his a** so the controls are meant to be awkward and disorienting. It almost felt like the controls were automatically switching from a default to inverted randomly. Just take your time with them, move slowly. Try not to pick up too much speed. Try to move slowly forwards enemies and do your best to face them head on and not to get caught between too many at once. In my opinion, the moves that helped me ot the most and that I would take advantage of are the special attacks which take down enemies in one hit, especially the kicking one (The yellow bar will need to be filled in order to use them but luckily it fills very often and quickly) and dodging (y). Just pay attention to enemy attacks and timing to dodge attacks so you don't end up loosing health. The 21 achievements are all straight forward and shouldn't give you much trouble. Achievements for beating 6, 24, and 52 enemies. 6 achievements that I guess you could consider collectible achievements for collecting 1, 5, and 11 bottles and eating 1, 6, and 12 burgers. Both are very easy to find, you pretty much can't miss them. 3 achievements for causing 1, 10, and 20 enemies to slip, which you cause by actually pissing in front of them or when your close enough that they start chasing you. 3 achievements for using 3, 12, and 24 special attacks. If you press start you can view a list of all moves and special attacks. 3 achievements for completing levels 1, 2, and 3. And the last 3 achievements are for falling without external influence, falling without tripping over anything or being pushed over. This will probably be the first achievement you'll earn likely by accident while getting used to the controls like I did. Beating 3 opponents in 12 seconds, which is actually a lot easier than it sounds and initially looks based on the slow fighting moves. And lastly, messing with the police over. The first cop you in counter is in level 2 I believe, but this is not where you will earn the achievement because this cop you actually need to avoid. This achievement can be unlocked at the start of level 4. This game is easy enough to where you won't need a guide. You might just want to look up the "Pardon!" Achievement for messing with the cop but that's it. Good for achievement hunters and worth a playthrough. Not a great game but not terrible.

  • If you've played the first Super Soccer Blast game then this one will be very familiar to you. The gameplay, controls, mechanics, design, achievements, and most everything else felt the same. Most of the achievements are the same with the exception of a few miscellaneous ones that are different. Still easy though. It seems like this game might have some framerate issues...

  • This game had an interesting concept but I wouldn't say I had fun playing it. It's a abstract, trippy walking simulator with a constantly changing environment depending on how you move through the game. I liked the artwork, coloring, and soundtrack this game had however it is very brief and pretty linear. He quick and easy 1000g is really all this game...

  • Simpler black and grey Atari side scrolling platformer. It sort of reminded me of something that would have played on the original Gameboy. Basically a new age old school game. Probably not for everyone. But definitely for those who want to top off their gamerscore quickly and easily. About a 45 min-1 hour completion.

  • There are many point-and-click/puzzle games that just feel like a chore to play and the sole purpose of playing is only for the completion. I've played too many of them where I was just looking to blast through the game as quick as possible and couldn't wait to be done with. I can honestly say though that this was not the case with this game. The...

  • A silly 3D puzzle parking game with kicking mechanics. I had some fun at first with this game, but because of the poor mechanics, repetitiveness, annoying music, and several grindy achievements I was ready to move onto another game after a while. In this game you will shift parked cars in different directions to create an open path to get your car...
