Halo games were slowing killing themselves well before 343 Industries took over. Game release after game release Bungie was slowly degrading the Halo franchise with awful campaigns. By awful campaigns I mean the stories themselves and how they decided to tell them because the game play was always fun. However 343 Industries’ choices were so bad that they killed the franchise...
Look I know this game is made for kids and all - my nephews love Ryan and his YouTube stuff - but it's actually pretty fun if you're looking for a super casual Mario Kart clone for Xbox One. Achievements are pretty easy to unlock which is a huge bonus for me, and it's really not that bad given I don't know any of the characters of the Ryan series or...
When a Next Generation console is released it also needs to have next games. You can see that jump with older consoles especially in the graphics department. That is not the case now a days. I have even joked in the past when Microsoft was releasing a new Xbox (The S & X versions) each year that it was the most powerful console to run...
This game was a decent sequel and pretty darn good game for the Puzzle genre which is not my favorite. Low price and relatively easy achievements was an easy sell for me. I liked the different mechanics and difficulty as levels progressed. The boss battle was fun too and would hope they produce another game in the series.
Another typical Microsoft 12 month game that offers easy :gs: for the majority of the achievements. Expect to dedicate a year of time for completion... ooor the clock/date manipulation trick. Have fun! :P
like the mass majority of kinect games i played, especially in the lab series, the first impression is always grand. over time they all tend to lose appeal at a rapid rate. this one was a favorite, along with the turtles one, but they all end up showing their true colors and become an uninterested, almost torturous grind for completion.
as the previous reviewer wrote.. one of the worst games in my entire library. if you plan to play this for the GS either do it all at once, or space it out with lots of good times between sessions. horrid experience all around :D
Mad Max is a marvelous games that I had to wait to long to play because of so many other gaming distractions. It's such a well designed game in it's mechanics, visualizations, characters, and world building. The game is set in the 2015 Fury Road world of Mad Max and not the Mel Gibson era. Of course they don’t use Tom Hardy’s likeness because...
I personally think MW2 is still the best game in the series. If you haven't played it, you need to.
Broken game logic when frames per second exceed 30... when the game has unlocked framerate and has no V-sync toggle. Multiple crashes and save corruptions, uninstalled itself 2 times. Minigames don't count valid actions, like the drummer minigame doesn't count button presses. I don't recommend you to play this game, it may look like an...
I happen to have a good stockpile of unplayed Lego games on my shelf from back in the day when I bought just about everything. I also haven’t played a Lego game in what felt like ages. I enjoyed playing the previous incarnations of the Lego Star Wars games, so it wasn’t going to be a stretch that I would like this one too. I actually loved playing this one and it...
This is a pretty interesting and fun zombie game variant. The point of the game is to get out of the level before being overrun by zombies by searching and finding three pieces of musical equipment that lets you rock out to the next level. It’s no coincidence that you need to find musical equipment to progress since the game has a Rockabilly soundtrack. As you...
PUBG has popularized the Battle Royal game type. Respawn, the creators of Titanfall is one of the latest to followed suit with Apex Legends. I already loved this science fiction world setting to begin with, so this was a perfect introduction into the fast paced game play. Your team drops from an airship into the killing fields with 60 players. Picking a good spot...
BurgerTime World Tour is a slightly different take on the original arcade classic. It’s the same game play that has you avoiding condiments while you assemble burgers to clear levels. There are also power up that can grab to help you move through the levels like pepper, that stuns your adversaries. Where it differs from the arcade game is in the levels that lay...
great game but getting all the achievements are difficult and the graphics are very worn mutiplayer is still very active
At this point, most of us have probably played some kind of bridge construction game, and in that regard, there isn't a whole lot new that BCP is bringing to the table. That being said, the mechanics of the game are solid, and there's definitely an element of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Adding to that is the fact that once you've finished off...
FFXV Pocket Edition is definitely not the most satisfying gaming experience you'll ever have. The free-to-play structure means, perhaps like me, you bought this game thinking that it was a free 1000gs, since the need to purchase chapters 2-10 is not advertised anywhere until you're inside the game. That being said, for $20 or so, you...
Wow wooden characters , Slow Game play....Awful animation. Please Dontnodoff....stop making these awful overrated games.
It doesn't take long the puzzles are more clever than taxing but worth the 3 or so hours...The rewind mechanic is like life is strange just this game has better characters....even though the don't speak.....they sat more ! Play it !
Yeah so... title pretty much says it all. The classic Windows time waster is back once again. Minesweeper isn’t a tough completion, but it will take some grinding. As with the majority of the Microsoft Casual series, daily challenge medals are back once again, and unless you do some system clock manipulation, you’re in a for a year-long grind....
Heart Box is not really bringing anything new to the table. Pretty standard physics puzzler ala Cut the Rope, but that’s not to say it’s just some cheap ripoff. Heart Box does introduce a few new fun mechanics to the genre, and with 200 unique levels (or as many as 800 if you want to count each of the 4 game variants for each level separately) to...
Credit to the Rare team for trying something new on their third BK outing, but I have to say they didn't completely hit the mark. There are still some fun platforming elements, and having an actual point to the collectibles (more vehicle parts) rather than collecting for the sake of collecting like in the previous two games is a nice...
I was surprised by how fun this game was for what it is. Not a great game by any means, but the concept is actually pretty cool. Harm's Way is a racing game where you have the option of either being in a vehicle racing or being in a turret on the periphery of the race track trying to take out racers. The controls are clunky, the graphics...
I was kinda surprised at how much fun this game was. It popped up on Games with Gold, looked like an easy 1000/1000, so I gave it a download and loaded it up. I was right that it's fairly simple, but even though I was too old to have grown up with Adventure Time and never really watched it, this game has surprisingly good mechanics and a lot of charm. It's a...
MUA definitely has its charm. With many Marvel characters to choose from and plenty of lore to explore, any Marvel fan will enjoy this game to some extent. That being said, MUA suffers from a lot of the problems that movie tie-in games suffer from despite not being one. Glitches, while not rampant, can lock you out of achievements and...
