Another Dawn

Terrible

This game needs A LOT of work. It's as if the game developer was a blind monkey who tried recreating Far Cry... While having a seizure. The idea for the game was okay, I'll give it that. However the execution, not at all. I was very surprised to see that this was an X|S optimized game, it plays like it was optimized for the original Playstation. And that it normal selling price. I get there are crap games out there being sold by what upsets me is how Microsoft could allow this game to be sold for $19.99! I mean really? Luckily I purchased it on sale for $5 which is still a high price for this game. I guess the developers wanted to create an old style survival game that is intentionally hard so you are to figure out how to survive through the game on your own. That's great and all, but I don't think it makes up for the mechanics and controls to be absolute crap. The list could go on about all the issues this game has...the controls are wonky and extremely sensitive. I had to turn down the sensitivity almost all the way down which made it slightly easier. Jumping controls and even swimming are both awful. Voice acting is crap. The movement of the AI is ridiculous, enemies will dart in all directions making it impossible to kill using melee weapons. In the final, I was certain I had 2 enemies left to kill but it was actually 1 darting from one side of the level to the other! I don't know why they even have the pipe as a weapon. You can strike an enemy dead on over and over, but no kill. The controls should be re mapped. Aiming is garbage. Often times you'll have a dead on headshot that won't kill an enemy but is actually a missed shot. I'm surprised I was able to get through the underground laboratory level bc of how glitchy it was. 90% of it felt like it was running at 5 fps. I won't "spoil" how it ends but the way it looks is that there could be a sequel. The expression normally goes "quit while you're ahead." But with the development of this game they should quit because they are too far behind.

  • If you've played the first Super Soccer Blast game then this one will be very familiar to you. The gameplay, controls, mechanics, design, achievements, and most everything else felt the same. Most of the achievements are the same with the exception of a few miscellaneous ones that are different. Still easy though. It seems like this game might have some framerate issues...

  • This game had an interesting concept but I wouldn't say I had fun playing it. It's a abstract, trippy walking simulator with a constantly changing environment depending on how you move through the game. I liked the artwork, coloring, and soundtrack this game had however it is very brief and pretty linear. He quick and easy 1000g is really all this game...

  • Simpler black and grey Atari side scrolling platformer. It sort of reminded me of something that would have played on the original Gameboy. Basically a new age old school game. Probably not for everyone. But definitely for those who want to top off their gamerscore quickly and easily. About a 45 min-1 hour completion.

  • There are many point-and-click/puzzle games that just feel like a chore to play and the sole purpose of playing is only for the completion. I've played too many of them where I was just looking to blast through the game as quick as possible and couldn't wait to be done with. I can honestly say though that this was not the case with this game. The...

  • A silly 3D puzzle parking game with kicking mechanics. I had some fun at first with this game, but because of the poor mechanics, repetitiveness, annoying music, and several grindy achievements I was ready to move onto another game after a while. In this game you will shift parked cars in different directions to create an open path to get your car...
