Hey Porsch I just found that Minecraft had a huge update... well it happened on the 18th but did realize the scope of it, I may have an idea as to why you have no got your 27 biomes done yet. If they updated it could have reset your progress because they added these biomes:

Mesa, Mega Taiga, Roofed Forest, Birch Forest, Forest, Savanna, Extreme Hills+, Deep Ocean, and Snowless Taiga are all available for exploration.
