looking through the badge list i don't see anything with q so it got me thinking what about something like

quick learner - finish the tutorial achievements in any game

Some series have either a badge for playing or completing a game while others, such as the Final Fantasy series have both. Here are my suggestions for adding new badges for these series with existing badges in bold. Series with no badges are at the end, apologies for the length.

You missed one for completing Rock Band (there's one for playing already). 8) Also, a lot of the ones you're suggesting are single games, not series. I'd really like to see them keep the badges for playing/completing to game series, bigger ones preferably, rather than just flooding badges.

I agree about keeping them for series, it's just the inconsistency of some with both types and others not that was bugging me. Once I started pulling at that thread I found a whole load of them.
I think the games I listed have at least two Xbox 360 releases except for Watch Dogs, Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire, uDraw and the Sims but I was mainly going by the badge descriptions of series, and assuming some of these may get future sequels on Xbox One.
Rock Band (I nominate Highway Star for completion) and Dead Space (really don't know enough about that series to suggest anything) are a couple I missed and there may be more.
Other than that, how do you feel about the concept?

I generally like the idea of standardizing a lot of the badges; (if there's a played, there's a completed) as well as the ongoing discussion about having a standard ladder for overall completions and games played, with each individual platform (XBLA, 360, X1, Win8 & WP). New ideas are always welcome though.

We need a solid badge for Completing Diablo 3. I am selfish that way.

"Alphabet Soup" - play a game beginning with each letter of the alphabet

Badge idea:
A badge for playing a game in the Digimon or Bakugan series.
