How to get this game early (Better Together Beta)

Here is how to get into the Minecraft Better Together Beta.

On Xbox One, you'll need:

1. A digital copy of "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition"
2. Join the Minecraft Beta via the Xbox insider Hub app (Insider content -> Minecraft beta -> click "Join")
   • Immediately after clicking Join, the Store should load up and start the download for the new version of "Minecraft".
   • You should now have 2 different games: "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition" and the new "Minecraft" in your Games & apps, each game has their own achievement list.
   • You'll only be able to connect with Windows 10 and Android via the new version called "Minecraft" if they are running the same version.

To join the beta on Windows 10 (can connect with Xbox One and Android if they are running the same version number), you'll need:

1. A digital copy of "Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition" (available for purchase on the Microsoft Store)
2. You might already have a free copy of Minecraft for Windows 10 if you have Minecraft: Java Edition installed. Check your Mojang.com account for the redeemable code. You can redeem codes at https://redeem.microsoft.com/.
3. Join the Minecraft Beta via the Xbox insider Hub app (Insider content -> Minecraft beta -> click "Join")
4. Have the latest update to your version Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition (after following the steps above).

To join the beta on Android (can connect with Xbox One and Windows 10 if they are running the same version number), you'll need:

1. A device that supports Google Play and own a copy of "Minecraft: Pocket Edition" purchased through the Google Play Store.
2. Join the beta by following this link: Join Beta
3. Remember to back up your worlds before you start beta testing
4. More information about the beta can be found at http://PocketBeta.Minecraft.net/
5. Have the latest update to Minecraft: Pocket Edition (after following the steps above).
6. If you decide to leave the beta, remember to restore any worlds you opened while beta testing because those worlds won't be compatible with the old version.
