Discontinued achievements filter

Is it in any way possible to filter out (or flag) discontinued achievements? When I look at achievements there's no way for me to determine which ones I can still get, and which ones are lost forever. I can still add any achievement to my to do list even though I'll never be able to unlock them.

I can imagine it being a huge task to do this (and it could be that the amount of work involved is exactly the reason not to implement this), but it would be a neat feature I think.
