Today Microsoft has unveiled the spiritual successor to Halo: Spartan Assault. The game is to be called Halo: Spartan Strike.

You will be able to grab Halo: Spartan Strike on December 12th for the price of $5.99. The game will be a Windows Universal App, meaning you only need to purchase it once to play (and earn achievements!) on both platforms and will support 512MB Windows Phone 8 devices. It was stated that “currently there are no plans” for console, iOS, or Android versions of the game. However, an Xbox One (and maybe 360) version is likely in 2015.

I like the pay once for both platforms, decent price as well!

This looks better than the original games.
