Status changed to 'Completed' - Using a separate browser and Microsoft Account I am still able to go to the store page for this game and purchase it. The system requirements also still state that Windows 8.1 is the required minimum OS to purchase/play the game. As such I am making no changes at this time.

No worries. There are so many games like this that were both WP and Win 8 that it's easy to mix them up. It's part of the reason I keep that second account available.
