Not sure if I should try to use Google chat or make my wife get Skype?

Any suggestions for google chat?

I like using Skype. I have on my xbox and my phone. we had a big party the other night and was able to video chat with my sister in law in Minnesota on my tv. it was fun.

I've not used nor herd of Google Chat, But I have used Skype and it seems pretty main stream, There is also Tango which I have used too and FaceTime, But I believe FaceTime is strictly iPhone for now at least.

But in terms of popularity..Skype

Skype works great for overseas. My wife travels and I use it to make cheap international calls.

Or you could use IMVU.....lol... My Gf older daughter has one of these.. so being who I am I looked in one day and asked her about it.. it's about the cheesiest stupid chat app I've ever seen..but I guess you can use it semi anonymously.
