An End of the Year Announcement

All of us here at Gamertag Nation would like to thank you for a wonderful 2010. As the new year approaches, we continue our resolution to provide the best gaming experience and look forward to serving you with excellence in 2011.

I would also like to take a moment to introduce some of the newest features and help shed some light on the what’s still to come.



Activity Feed

This one is super beta right now; there's still much more to come with this feature. Currently, you may enable/disable this feature by visiting My Account > Settings > Privacy. Also, for the sake of privacy, I'd like to give you guys the option of disabling and enabling certain "types" of activities. As in, you could disable updates when you post a new thread, leave a comment, rate a game, etc.. This may also merge with the gamertag feed, and include a RSS option in the near future.

New Gamertag Verification Process

Verifying your gamertag should become a little bit easier on you. Starting today, you may now verify your gamertag via the Xbox Live Message Center. For more details on the gamertag verification process, simply visit our tutorial found here. (video tutorial coming soon)
