Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's Campaign Has Specialist and YOLO Difficulties

Upon completing Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's campaign, you'll be able to replay the whole thing over again in two different bonus difficulty levels. There's what Activision calls the "intensely realistic" Specialist mode, and completing that unlocks YOLO mode.

YOLO mode is exactly what you think it is: you only live once, which means permadeath, as in dying sends you back to the beginning of the campaign to start all over again. Completing Specialist mode is no tall order, however, as you can only heal using Nano Shots and there's no health regeneration.

To protect yourself from headshots, you'll need helmets that also take damage and have to be replaced. Being shot in the legs slows your movement, while being shot in one of your arms affects your ability to use weapons (aiming down the sights) and gear. Your weapon can also be shot out of your hand.

Apparently, the key to beating Specialist mode is to use the game's lean out of cover, which like other recent CoD titles involves inching to the edge of said cover until a little yellow arrow appears at the side of your reticle. Hold the aiming trigger down when this appears to ADS, and you'll pop out while aiming.

Sounds tough, doesn't it? Will you dare brave Specialist and YOLO mode when Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches on Friday, 4th November? You can find out more on the Activision Blog here.
