I mistakenly thought this was for getting 1,000,000 point in the game total, but that isn't at all what it is. It's actually far easier, but dumb - you have to leave your console running on the main menu. It will take several hours, probably 4ish so plug in a wired controller (or plug your wireless in via usb) so you don't get paused.
